There was a whole discussion here about this.
There is a direct 343i response on there stating 2XP is up and running fine.
The 2XP is auto applied at the end of your match. Depending what you play depends how much you’ll notice it. You’re recent games shows a lot of Arena played, Arena doesn’t really pay out much XP as it is, you’ll definitely be getting more but it won’t be anything crazy significant.
Mythic firefight was already a 2XP playlist so you won’t see an increase there.
I believe 2XP is only applied to the game completion XP stat in your match breakdown. It doesn’t total everything and then add the multiplier.
I’m not seeing much of a difference either. In the other thread 343I’s response had a graph showing the doubling of xp but no numbers so I’m a little curious what the average payout for each match is without Double xp…

I can only speak to firefight, as that was what I religiously played both before and after the double xp. In regular firefight, I was getting anywhere from 4-6,000 xp per match (depending on where I finished and how many rounds we finished). With the double xp, that went up to 9-12,000 xp. With mythic, I was getting 9-12,000 xp per match, with the double xp I was getting (at most) 15-16,000 xp. That being said, this was without boosts and just straight xp… no kind of boost was applied to those matches…
As was mentioned above, Double XP is being applied to all playlists. The only one that isn’t getting double XP is Mythic Firefight on account of already having double XP applied. So if you think you’re not getting double xp for games played (outside of Mythic FF), it’s only in your head.
