I don’t see it happening any time soon. The best we have is featured playlists give you more XP.
I’d love to see it happen, but I doubt it ever will.
The only problem is that if you equip a Legendary boost, you would effectively be getting loads of XP, which could effectively cheat the system. I’m not sure if we will see one.
Do we really need double xp weekends when we already get featured playlist that give extra XP and you can use xp boost/jackpots?

With a top SR of 152 that requires in excess of 100,000,000xp that takes around 60-80 days play time. Yes I feel like a double xp week could be beneficial. Think of the rush of players that would come as well!

I am glad it takes a long time. Why do some feel as if games are supposed to be some sort of sprint to get maxed out as soon as possible? I doubt a double xp weekend will bring in a rush of players. There are some who have already reached 152 without double xp weekends

I’ve never seen Halo with double xp. It seams like Battlefield and Call of Duty do that pretty often. But I’m more interested in Req points anyway.

I have just over five million Req points I’m sick of them, if I could gift gold packs I could supply half the population with completed Reqs lol.

I most definitely am imagining that, ah just think how far 30,000xp would go when you need 30,000,000+ til next SR. I don’t think most people know just how much xp it takes to reach 152. Given that only 2% of the population are above 150.

Yes I know there are people who have reached it, but as I work, teach, and study it’s rather hard to reach. Sixty days play time is simply out of reach.
However I do understand where you’re coming from.

Well considering H6 is no where on the horizon there probably is still a lot of time to get there.

If you’re at SR 145+, you should really be in the double XP corner, b/c the grind to 152 is outrageous despite featured playlist and XP boosts. I’ve given up hope of reaching 152, I just don’t have the time to dedicate.
Personally, I think a bi-weekly Double XP weekend sounds fairly reasonable for most. After all, most of us lay waste to everything in our path en masse.
Would be useless for me but I wouldn’t mind if they had a double rp weekend one week then a double xp weekend the next
I would be a fan of any extra form of xp gain. Heck it might even soften the blow of Destiny 2 coming out, even if by a small margin.

That would be really good, I’d be happy with that! Especially since an Arena Game gives you a little over 3000xp at most and at SR150 you’ve only just reached half way to top SR. 80,000,000xp is massive and I’m still only 148. Which means there’s almost 95,000,000xp between me and max. Surely a double xp wouldn’t break the system for us that are so high. I mean if H6 came out next year then rip every person below SR145 right now. If H6 was to come out in around two years time then yeah that’s not so bad.
