How are you going to use them if you haven’t banked them under your Gamertag already?

You have an additional 2 months (3/31/13) to transfer them to a GamerTag.

Codes can be entered on the Website until 11:59:59 pm ET on 1/31/13; any unapplied XP Matches remaining on or before 3/31/13 will be forfeited. If no Xbox LIVE Gold Gamer ID/Gamer tag (“Gamer ID/Gamer tag”) has been entered during the Promotional Period, XP Matches will be forfeited

Yes, you bank codes in exchange for matches.

The way I read the OP - he already had 74 matches (not codes) - so he might still be able to “Gift” them through the Facebook gifting option.

Ohhhhhh, okay. Well thank you for the clarification. I was beginning to think he was going to allow other users access to his DewXP account, which I was going to strongly advise against doing.
