Double xp in WMF before Infinite?

Do you think that by chance 343 puts double experience in WMF for those who are grinding to reach level 152?

Doubt it. It used to be a Weekend-only mode and the fact it’s now available all the time just gives people the opportunity to make use of its higher payouts.

If anything I’d advocate giving usual Warzone the Featured Playlist boost when WZA and WZT aren’t available because player numbers in that list are just too low and with the boost it might provide some respite for those grinding to give equivalent payout to MWZFF while also providing some different experiences.

I just wish the XP Boost Packs were Permanently in the store.

They technically already have delivered on this. Mythic firefight used to only be around from Friday till Sunday. Now you have 24/7 access to it and it’s increased XP payouts.

They are in the Xbox store permanently if they’re that important. Just not the req store - otherwise no one would ever buy reqs anymore and the Warzone modes would be entirely barren of vehicles/power weapons

I feel like that is already happening because people are hoarding req points waiting for their return.

Can’t say I’ve noticed to be honest, but I’m so req poor for the reqs I want to use even with spending my RPs on packs

Very rarely have I seen this happen in MWFF. More often than not, people are pulling reqs left and right because the more rounds you finish, the higher both your xp and rp are for the match. The better you do the more you get. Indeed, I have occasionally gotten the match where by the last round, only one or two people have pulled vehicles to beat the final round, and it is what it is. Not much I, as an innocent player who doesn’t pull any reqs because he’s terrible and would just end up wasting them, can do, except play and do the best I can. The only reason I’m semi hoarding req points is because I’m trying to spend enough on gold packs to get phaetons to finish spartan kills with them. As of today I’ve gone through 7 or 8 phaetons… and have gotten 2 kills. That’s not a good ratio and shows you just how good (not really) of a player I am. I’ve already spent 700k 2-3 weeks ago on gold packs and only got a total of 9 phaetons…

But back to the original point, if they left the boost packs in the req store, absolutely, people would be hoarding their rp to buy them, and then be hitting 152 over night. I’m pretty sure that’s not what 343 wants, I think that would hurt the franchise and the most loyal and active part of the Halo fanbase…

I definitely don’t think they should be left in permanently, but it’s fast approaching 3 months since we have seen them in the store.

I didn’t start playing multiplayer in Halo 5 until July 28th of last year. And I can tell you the first time I saw them was in december when the holiday festivities went live (I think the 4th or something like that). That was 5 months… and I don’t think there’s any sort of set schedule as to when they rotate the req packs in and out… if I were a betting man, I don’t think we’ll see them again until we get close to the Infinite launch, as a way to help everyone who isn’t 152 to get there before launch, as 5 will definitely not be as populated after launch…

I think it’s doubtful that we’ll see Double XP for MWZFF, but the Warzone Turbo playlist that seems to roll around monthly is Featured, so that has Double XP attached to it. It’s actually coming back this Thursday! I’m gonna be playing a lot of it, I love the feel of it.

I know it’s unlikely but I would definitely appreciate double XP on firefight.

Warzone firefight mythic was rotated in and had the increased zp payout, then they made it permanent last year and kept the increased payout. So it’s technically already got what you want applied to it.

And no, the boosts shouldn’t be permanent as it lessens those who got 152 before and that’s how you piss off your fanbase.

It’s meant to be a reward for those who kept playing Halo 5 through the years, and if you weren’t a dedicated player then there is a huge grind as it wasn’t designed to be done all at once
