Halo 3 is still one of the best multiplayer games there is for xbox live even after five years. In two more weeks halo 4 will come out and the population and halo 3 as we know it will be extinct due to less players playing around the world. All halo 3 players get together and say something maybey 343 will listen and on the last weekend before halo 4 put double xp on halo 3 and let it go out in a bang.
There’s no need for that. If you want to play Halo 3, play Halo 3. You shouldn’t need a double XP for that, and if anything, they’ll do something special for only Reach.
Why is there no need? It would help populate one of the best xbox live games ever. They should do something for Halo 3 not Reach. Reach isn’t Halo in my opinion. They should have never introduced armor abilities but now they will never go away. But yea they should put double xp playlists or something back on Halo 3 even if it is just until Halo 4 comes out. Sadly it probably won’t happen because 343 doesn’t seem to care what happens to Halo 3. Who knows maybe if this thread gets popular enough someone at 343 will see it and consider doing something about it.

it wont. and halo is becoming more friendly to all players starting with reach. reach is halo. wars is halo. you want to play halo 3. play halo 3. also. the best halo multiplayer there has ever been. was created back in CE. when halo was born.

I agree with you to an extent, but the guy has a point…Reach is a somewhat decent video game, but a pathetic excuse for a Halo game.
I still play Halo 3 occasionally, so it would be nice and fitting for them to send Halo 3 out with a bang for Johnson’s sake.
i agree with them i have been playing Halo ever since.Reach does feel like a Halo game but not the single player did.Halo 3 is the best Xbox Live game i remember it had like 100,000 players online at the same time for years.Reach failed to do that but still an awesome game

i think the best way to send it out with a bang is to have a 2 day playdate where we have lots of people get on and play halo 3 one last time(not really but ya know. gotta be dramatic right??) like have 343 people maybe some roosterteeth guys get on and have the community make one last hoorah. and emphasize “completing” the game. like so that people will help others get their last achievements. but i think an xp thing would not really do anything for the game. make one last major playdate where we try to get as much of the community together one more time. thats how it should go.
also. reach was a great and well put together game. the thing that really took away from the replay value was the fact that the maps were small(as in nowhere to really explore) and that the difficulty went up with more players.

That’s kind of what I was getting at. As I said, Reach can be considered a somewhat decent video game, but a pathetic excuse for a Halo Game. Halo has much higher standards.
