Double XP codes are a waste of money

So I went to the store and bought a few doubleXP Dorito bags. Guess what? i get home, enter the codes, and they appear invalid. Who’s bright idea was it to put the codes on the outside and and completely visible? They could have simply made it so they only activate after purchase.

then don’t waste your money,
just copy a code of onto a note an be happy!

Where I’m at it is impossible to find the big bags of Doritos with the Chief on them. I think all the other Halo gamers grabbed them up.

Do the Dew, the codes are inside the package instead.

Lool you do know people take a picture of it or redeem it on the spot.

Mountain dew is much more secure

Well guess what? those -Yoink- stole my code, I decided to take every bag from the back row, move them to the front, turn them around, and then take a pic of every code. I will redeem them, but not use them. I’ll most likely use them once I have like, 50 codes. I got about 18 now.

Yeah it was really dumb. Mountain Dew codes are inside the box or bottle cap, but for some reason the Doritos ones are on the outside of the bags. It really didn’t make much sense to me either.

They are trying to advertise their -Yoink- and get us to buy them because they have codes, when in reality, people will just take the codes and buy a regular bag of dorito’s if they are hungry.

I’ve felt like doing that a few times, taking a picture of the codes behind the bag. However i fear that they will track you to see if you actually bought it or not.

No one stole your code, you were just dumb enough to purchase those bags only for double XP. It says, in giant bold letters in all caps on the back of the bag, “NO PURCHASE NECESSARY”. Do not blame others because you were too damn blind to read the label and unable to put two and two together.

It states on the back of the bag next to the code “NO PURCHASE NECESSARY”…

Haha… thats pretty stupid, but thanks, i guess ill go do that.

I’ve gone out to a few locations in the past and snagged up code after code, one day I had to go to the store in the morning anyway and they just got their Doritos shipments so I took about two minutes to take all the pictures I could, got about 20 codes.

Right now I’ve hit the cap for codes you can redeem (250 or so) with over 100 games of double xp at my disposal I’ll be working through, along with about 60 games of double xp I can gift to a friend or something.

If you bought Doritos for the code, you’re foolish. I take pictures when I want the codes, I but Doritos when I feel like eating Doritos…

I went to a single Walmart and took pictures of the codes. I got 240 games of double XP because of it. I’ve already used all 200 games of double XP and it helps a lot. The rest I gave to my friends.

Don’t bother with the Doritos ones?
If you want to 2XP, get Mt. Dew, the codes are under the caps, and unless someone is stupid enough to go into a store and start opening pop bottles…all those codes are unused.
