I’m planning on playin halo 5 online and would like to join in to the game as Spartan Vale in fireteam osiris or Fredrick in Spartan Blue Team but matchmaking doesn’t exist for the main part of the game so if anyone wants to add me @S117MASTERCHEIF for multiplayer in both the campaign and Spartan wars of Halo 5.
Two; If Microsoft would release an update that allows us in sinle player to choose which Spartan to play as, That’ll be terrific as well.
( Honestly Ubisoft has the record of caring about customer satisfaction and adding new additional content that’s been asked for Example Far Cry 5 added the Deputy Outfit in the game, New game plus Assassin’s Creed Odessey New game plus, player level increases and a few bug fixes. )
The reason you can’t choose to play as just any character is because Spartan Locke and Master Chief do not have AI’s assigned to them. For any given reason, 343i seems to have concluded that if you’re playing alone, you WANT to be Locke or Chief, no one else.
I would play with you, but sadly my internet is garbage DSL, so if we were to play, you would need to host.

I think it’s a tactic for storytelling, since John and Locke are the protagonists. So it is important to 343 for you to be able to see the story from the protagonists point-of-view. I believe that playing as the main character is supposed to make you feel like you’re the one accomplishing things and progressing the story, not your AI companions.

I would also really appreciate matchmaking for campaign. I love playing the campaign, but it gets dreary playing it alone and tiresome to have to go on forums to find people. Despite my saying this, I can not however play with you because I do not have my physical copy of the game right now.

It’s alright, if you ever happen to get your hands on your physical copy (for whatever reason, I don’t seem to need my physical copy, still lets me play even though I let my sister borrow the disk because she has no internet and wanted to play some of my games) hit me up. Hopefully my internet lives long enough for us to play. Gamertag is the same as it is here.
