Double RP weekends

343 should add double RP weekends, like we had in Halo 3 with the double exp weekend!
I think this is a really cool idea, what do you guys think?

It would be good as 50000000 XP is a lot to get max rank. RP would be good but that would mean less people doing micro-transaction = less $$$ for 343 = less free DLC.

Of course!!! I just hate the fact that you don’t get armor, visors, helmets or weapon skins in anything but gold or silver packs. The commendation packs at least should offer a chance even to get just One, that’s all I would ask…

So I can earn 4000+ RP per game? Yes please! On a serious note though, it’d be a bad idea as people would be tearing through REQ packs like nobody’s business.

It wouldn’t be bad for players, but part of the game’s longevity is going to rely on people wanting to complete their collections. It’s not great business to make that process any quicker.

After 40 you start getting Silver packs for ranking up (at least thats what Greenskull showed, Im only at like SR-12 so I dont know). Theoretically once you’re higher, you might get gold packs from rank ups
