Simple solution make it ranked and make all ranked playlist have a quitting ban (perhaps where it locks you put of ranked for a short while)

There’s already a ranked doubles playlist.
In team doubles (the social playlist) bots get added in to replace quitters then other people join in progress to replace the bots.
This doesn’t happen in the ranked doubles playlist obviously.
Also, I believe there is a quit ban already but you have to quit quite a few times before it’s applied I think.
Uh no. They need to add a forfeit feature or fix the 3v4 problem that plagued ranked since day one. A forfiet feature would be the simplest approach. Yesterday when trying to do placement games, after waiting 5-10 minutes when trying to find a solo/duo, loaded into 3 3v4s in a row. So no. You cant ban players for not accepting the broken ranked MM issues.

Much better solution would be to party up with a reliable teammate before searching for doubles matches. Would reliable solve all your problems right then and there.
Adding a vote to forfeit option to end unwinnable matches quicker would be nice as well.
