Double Pummel possible solution

Just an idea, but what if they were to reduce melee to 50%, but then also reduce health to 50%, making for a three melee kill with full shields. That way, you would have to take away half of their shield to melee twice and get the kill. I don’t know how that would affect weapon balance and stuff like that, but I’m pretty sure it would solve the double pummel problem without incorporating bleedthrough. Any ideas?

Needs to be reduced to 75%. This has proven to be effective and make the game better by multiple people but 343 wont listen thats pretty obvious.

Nothing is as frustrating as turning a corner and getting double beat down . . . These seem to be solutions. Even I don’t feel accomplished in killing someone this way. Once you take out their shields could you still land the pummeling blow?

Turn the corner more carefully.

remove sprint. problem solved.

This is the answer. The double is still possible, but way too dangerous to be used as ones main method for killing (or even secondary).

What how is double possible? If it’s not bleedthrough it won’t work.

i thought this was a shooter, i die by the hand more than the gun, it seems.

Oh hey…

Keep health the same but reduce melee by 50% so people will actually have to SHOOT to kill you.

Reduce pummel to 75% and see the population smile.

I roll my eyes at this . . .

I play defensively and cautiously. I’d rather go 5/1 than 20/19. I don’t go blindly rushing around ornery, and it’s STILL frustrating to turn a corner to get double beat down by a camper. Or better somebody else careens around the corner only to punch you to death.

Really sprint makes this the most frustrating, not that I’m for or against the AA. But no sprint or the ability to sprint backwards fixes this.

I still like the 75% idea.

Maybe thats why you missed the guy hiding in the corner?

it will always be frustrating, but I too play caustiously and have never had issues with being double derped. None.
