As a bumper jumper, I think it would be great in Halo 4 to be able to activate Jetpack by double tapping jump. Who’s with me? I love me some jetpack, however, I just can’t use it effectively in multiplayer having to take my thumb off the right thumbstick to activate the AA.
or just not have it in halo 4 then we wont have barriers literally everywhere

How about, if you press and hold the jump button in the air it activates? It wont really work though, there is going to be a specific button for AA and it would be kinda confusing to have one of the AA be activated differently.
IMO jetpack ruins map design and if i had the choice there would be no jetpack.
I play bumper jumper on all halo games,
obviously not on Halo 2 but i digress.
Due to the problems I had when switching to an AA in reach.
I went and got myself a Razer onza TE.
If you want to play bumper jumper but still want the access to your AA with ease.
I highly recommend the purchase of one.
Plus the other features like stick tweaking are awesome too.
so you can play on ten but make it feel like it’s four Very handy for sniping.
This is just IMO but thought you guys should know
or you can use a different button layout.
My Onza cable died and I haven’t taken the plunge to purchase another. They most certainly are the jam. Basically I would just like 343 to cater to my individual whims despite logic and design barriers all because I’m too lazy and cheap.
Yeah I never used jetpack due to Bumper Jumper, but even if a new activation mode was enabled, I probably still wouldn’t use jetpack. Just don’t find any use in it…

I looked into this controller after you said that and was practically drooling over it. Then i did more research and it sounds like there are too many problems with it… sounds too risky of a purchase to me. oh well.
This is exactly what i was thinking of as well. Seeing as sprint has become default and camo/holo are pretty much useless, jetpack will become the AA of choice. (Unless of course Forerunner visioin turns out to be useful)

Oh Lame, that sucks bro! I totally agree they should modify Bumper Jumper for AA support.
But just thought of giving an option anyway to other players that didn’t know :).
I just got myself the ME3 version after my original died, they are great just wished they didn’t break when just outside of the year warranty.

I bought one and got the Best Buy Black Tie warranty for it. It was worth it because within a month, the joystick messed up. The second one lasted about two months. The third one has been going strong ever since then though. Apparently the first run of them had a high failure rate from some defect that has since been sorted out.
Even with the problems though, it hands down the best controller I have ever used. I would recommend them to everyone, just spend ten extra bucks on an extended warranty.

I had mine from day one about 1 and a half years then it died.
Didn’t have any problems and it only broke because I stood on the controller.
which I was like OH MY GOD WEEP
they come with a full year warranty and the support is great.
I have just got a new one and it’s still as amazing if not better than the last.
The first batch of these did have A lot of problems.
but the one I purchased recently (2 weeks ago) feels stronger and better.
I’m not saying “TAKE MY MONEY”
but at least try get your hands on one and make up your mind.
Anyway it is an option for my fellow bumper jumpers!

Cool, glad I could help!

343i please dont remove bumper jumper
