If battle pass progression wasn’t bad enough when you try to use a 2x exp token only to get stuck matchmaking for 15-20 minutes for the first match because the servers keep taking a dump on them selves. You end up wasting more then half of the 2x exp token searching for lobbies, and its honestly disgusting. Another thing to sour the halo infinite experience thanks 343

This happened to me just the other day, I have a bunch of XP boosts so I decided to pop one before I finished some challenges. I ended up getting stuck in a loading screen waiting for the match to start, so I had no choice but to quit out of the game and restart Infinite, I wasted about 7 or 8 minutes of my boost.
Then on top of that, I went into a match with 5 minutes remaining on the boost, but by the time I finished the match(which was longer than 5min), I didn’t get the doubled XP, wtf?
XP Boosts need to be “Next 4 or 5 games are Double XP!” or something… this timer crap is a blatant rip off.
The fairest way would be for the xp boost timer to be active only during game time.
I guess it’s too hard to code otherwise 343 would have put it in.

They need to make double xp game time only.
Seeing as though it’s a buyable item, I think they opted for the system they have now because they want people to buy double xp brand items (rockstar, monster) as well as buying directly with credits.

Yeah I bought the battle pass, I also bought some in game money because I thought I would buy a cool skin.
The problem is, everything is so darn expensive that I don’t want to spend the in game money because it doesn’t feel value for money.
If they restructured the pricing model so things appeared value for money, I would happily buy more stuff. I just hate the feeling of being overcharged by a games company funded by one of the richest companies on the planet.
I don’t think I will purchase any more in game currency, I am not too impressed with the battlepass stuff either so not sure I’ll get the next one.

In the same boat with you, bought the campaign and $100 worth of creds because I was drunk and had a great night on multiplayer, so I preordered and bought the creds lmao.
But yep, everything is priced ridiculously. I got the red/gold vermillion chroma and that was 1/5th of my creds right there. Haven’t spent any since.

Lol, that is an expensive night bud. Hopefully they reduce some of the store items so we can spend a bit more without feeling like we are being robbed.
At least the gameplay is really good. I am absolutely loving ranked mode. I do hope they bring back ranked Slayer as that is my all time favourite but if I am to be honest, I tend to look at all the game modes as slayer. The only difference being that in objective games, I always know where my opponents are.
