If any of you have not seen these videos please watch them.
If you have seen these videos I have a question?
Can you get an armor ability from an ordinance drop? If you watch the video at exactly 7:10 you will clearly see that the player has promethean vision equipped but at the top of the screen you can see what appears to be a hologram by pressing L on the D-Pad. I don’t think it is a permanent switch, but more a one time shot. Just think about it. You can see through walls and send out a decoy, or you could be cloaked and then see through walls.
So I would see it like this, using one time shot ordinance drops.
Hologram = 1 Hologram normal duration and effect.
Cloak= 15 seconds of cloaking, slightly slower transition in and out of cloaking.
Promethean Vision= 3 seconds of promethean vision with normal effect.
Hardlight Shield= 1 Hardlight Shield normal duration and effect.
Jet Pack= 5 seconds of flight.
What did I miss?
What do you guys think? Has anyone else noticed this?
Good day Halo nation!!!
Well the video did not post like I would have expected. Just post the link and then watch the video.
This is my first post on here and glad to be here.
Good day everybody.
I didn’t see it. I don’t even know what the hologram symbol look like.
I believe that option on left D-pad is actually plasma grenades, not hologram.
I believe the icon that you are referring to is just to switch grenades, or it could be a form of power up from the ordinance drop he received.
That option is definitely for Plasma Grenades, not Hologram.

Thanks man I really appreciate that. It very well could be grenades, but if you pause the game at 7:20 and enlarge the screen it looks alot like two spartan helmets. If it were grenades, that would seem pretty strange to have sticky nades as a drop weapon. Oh well. Just wait wait and see.
Ya, the more I look at it, it is def. plasma grenades. Very strange, that means sticky nades are now a very coveted item. This will feel wierd.

No problem. I believe a lot of the confusion is due to the new button layout. You switch between the types of grenades you have equipped via the D-Pad. However, when you get an ordinance drop you also use the D-Pad to select the item you wish to call down. So the D-Pad serves two different functions.
