dose team playing even exist?

am i crazy or dose playing as a team not a thing anymore unless ur in a group

Yeah, there’s a lot of lone-wolves out there. From my experience, the number of people out there with mics (or who use their mics) has steadily decreased year after year…which only exacerbates the solo mentality/approach.

Grouping up is best way to go into a game.

Yeah, glad I’m not the only one noticing this. I see so many people camping or backtracking for no reason to the point where I always get 3v1’d. A lot of cowardice with these randoms.

I’m a solo player & I try to work as a team, but ends up with me not sharing the kills with the team :stuck_out_tongue:

But the lack of communication is a bust for players who want to communicate as a team and earn a victory

I get a dose of team play every time I play halo except FFA…there isn’t any teamwork in FFA no matter how many times I try to partner up with people.

It exists sometimes you get a random group of players without thumbs or coordination and others times you can have a good group of players that team up and can basically function really even without talking to one another but I suppose that is few and far between.

Yeah I was playing H2A BR Slayers the other day and my teammates were off somewhere else while i kept getting 3v1’d.

I love it when a team of randoms dominates a partied up team. It happens in BTB sometimes, and it’s a beautiful thing. You can tell that the team knows what they’re doing and function well without communication.

Unless I’m in a pre made group I’ve experienced it maybe a few times. It was magical really.

thats what i was playing to make me post this

Yeah I’ve noticed that team play is almost non-existent in Halo 5 Arena. I try to run with a partner/group but the randoms always end up running away when they get their shields down. That leaves me having to fight off two or three people by myself because people are either cowards and/or put their personal stats above the win and teamwork.

If you’re playing with randoms. No, it does not exist

Don’t use Mic’s
Stay Safe

I would say is more rare than a Phaeton Helios. Seriously, it´s been so long after they added that thing to the game and I´ve used it like less than 5 times.

I’d like to say that it probably isn’t as bad as you think. Playing your life is an essential part of Halo’s competitive gameplay. Just because they run away doesn’t mean they are cowards or put their personal stats above the rest, they are running away to stop a death (that’s 8 seconds without them on the map), gain a better position/angle, gain spawn control, etc. I won’t deny that there are selfish players out there, but sometimes they aren’t actually selfish. You dying is worse than trying to survive and waste time to hopefully get some support from your teammates.

Sadly team playing is dead…If you have a squad with you then no but with randoms yes…

Problem is, a lot of people aren’t playing their lives. I’d understand if someone ran and recharged their shields, but the backtracking usually happens after we win a team gunfight. They squander our offensive push and put us back into a defensive rhythm. Then we just get charged and naded by the enemy team.

Yeah in Slayer as soon as the game starts I try and run with someone but everyone just runs in different directions like someone just farted and everyone’s escaping the smell…
