First let me say , i love Halo 4 , i have no problem with it , but i have recently heard that 343 are trying to get master chief a " Heroic death" on the final halo. Well im a huge fan of MC , i dont even know why is he compared to the mother -Yoinking!- chuck norris , he’s the best , please dont kill him , and dont show his face.

A guy on youtube said that , he showed the magazine where it appeared , it says that the guy who makes the voice of master chief told them that master chief will have a heroic death , the video its in spanish but i can send you the link

I think I know what you are talking about… I think you are misinterpreting, I believe he just said MC should have a “Heroic Death”.
Id rather see him die in Halo 6, id like some closure to the series, this game has been an emotional thrill ride from the get go, I think it’d be an amazing way to end the series

Every spartan died an honorable way and soon the Chief will die there are other Spartan II’s For example Kurt 051 Isaac 039 William 043 Anton 044 and numerous others so they’ll be more stories maybe not from 343 but from other gaming industries but Halo will still live on “Spartans Never die” - Kurt 051

This is probably what 343 will do with cortana because they did almost every other cliche trick in the movies.

Especially Chief. But on a side note, I hope he doesn’t stay the main protagonist forever. Before I get lynched for that statement, think about how long the franchise will have centered around him by the end of the current trilogy. They should always keep him, but when they finish this trilogy, they should focus the next trilogy around a new character. THEN they can use our beloved Chief again later on.
I’m saying this for the sake of keeping Master Chief from becoming only a money-sucker for 343.

by movies do you mean quicktime events?
The thing is, we already has this sense of closure and yet Chief was still alive, presented in the smart Halo 3 ending.
He was dead to everyone else, and he became a legend in the eyes of humanity, and yet we were still happy that he survived.
Good luck making an ending like that again.
Either way, cheifs story has to end with Halo 6.
Halo 1: Start the Fight with the aliens.
Halo 2: Continue the fight with the aliens
Halo 3: Finish the fight with the aliens.
Halo 4: Start another bloody fight.
Halo 5: Y’know that guy you thought was dead? lol
Halo 6: Lets finish the fight… again…
If they make a Halo 7, and the chief is the main protagonist, then I’m just going to act like its a new protagonist.
For the sake of story and story arc, cheifs story needs to end with Halo 6.
You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villian.

While im not a big fan of ever seeing MC’s face, he has to have a great ending. Id rather see John 117 die at the end of Halo 6 with a great heroic death then him walk away and die of old age or something.
What kind of ending would you want?
