Title says it all…We prevented them from touching it in the first round on Highlands, and didn’t get the achievement.
So, pleas fix this somehow 343 because it’s bad enough these have to be done on their specific map packs but for them to not even work then? That’s just fantastic. ~-~
Edit: Reading around on other sites seems like it has to be done on Condemned…Real nice guys, cut half of the maps you have in the map pack and have a high weighting on Anniversary maps in Premium Battle…just beyond ridiculous.
or… maybe is just bad luck? anyways, I was never a big fan of Highlands on Premium, mostly since it feels very very big for a 6v6 - quitters… damn
I just did the exact thing you did OP. The other team didn’t touch our flag for the entire game while we were on Highlands. The achievement is broken.
It’s not broken since I already got that achievement. 
Thats a defiant achievement meaning you have to be on a defiant map not highlands herp a derp.

We just played back to back games of 1 flag. One on highlands and then on Condemned the enemy team never once touched our flag. The achievement never popped up. Wha
t’s the deal?
Despite popular belief you can actually get the achievement on Highlands. Also, if anyone quits and the game goes into black-screen you will not get the achievement at the end of the game.
If anybody’s interested, send me a friend request on XBL to try that achievement. I don’t have anybody to play the Defiant Maps with, any help would be appreciated.

Aih…Both rounds. Not one, you said prevented from touching flag in round 1. You have to prevent them in both rounds or no achievement.
This achievement is really stupid.
I had 2 games where our flag didn’t get touched and I didn’t get the achievement. We won 2-0.
That pissed me off so I just full-party boosted the last 3 Defiant achievements.
We just ignored the flag and played it like Slayer without touching the flag. That’s the only way it worked for me.
We should just not get map specific achievements for Halo 4. It seems to ask too much, especially for DLC maps that hardly come up in any of the hoppers.

You need to prevent them from touching it in BOTH rounds.
I know this because in one game we prevented them from touching it in the second round only (after they’d picked it up in the first round) and we didn’t get the achievement, but in a separate game when we prevented them from touching it in both rounds the achievement unlocked.
Both games were on Highlands as well.
