Many people, including myself, like our armor in Halo Reach. I would like to say that 343 shouldn’t take any armor away from the armory. Just add armor, this way people who like their SPARTAN our Elite in Reach can have their armor in Halo: 4. Don’t take away armor, add!
Yes because armor is the most important thing in a multiplayer game.
/sarcasm.
Well I’m sure people like a little more personalization rather than looking the exact same all the time? Plus it adds incentive to replay things to get that special armor piece you’ve wanted so yes, it does have a large impact on a mutliplayer game.

I’d prefer if everyone had to use identical Spartans. Then I wouldn’t have to deal with obnoxious nerds wearing Security Shoulders and Inclement Weather, or the Hayabusa children from Halo 3.
Also, the incentive for playing matches is to win and feel good about it, not to play dress up.

Because having the “perfect” MP settings while virtually everything else is in the -Yoink- will not only balance it out and validate the $60 price tag but also make it the most awesomest, most perfect game ever.
Oh, hi BF3.
OP: Not everything can be added back in and more added on top of that. There are realities of the real world that limit this.

Maybe for the mainstream mass that doesn’t play a game for actual gameplay.
If you want more armor, it needs to be worked on last and “unlocking” these things can not be the focus of multiplayer. You know like Reachs flop of a cr system.
I like playing dress up. It’s fun : ). I think they should keep the game armor’s separate though. The models are probably differently shaped and couldn’t use the exact same armors. But I think there should be special armors available to people that have played the other halo games.
Pay for new spartan armour. Calling it now.
Think it cant happen? GoW3 weapon skins. And they sold a heapload of them, including plenty of the mental 3600msp skin packs.
Theyd be stupid not to.

They’d also get alot of hate if they did.

I see no problem in character customisation. Yeah maybe the Armour effects (inclement weather, pestilence, etc.) was a bit over the top, but still. Also “the incentive for playing matches is to win and feel good about it, not to play dress up” - that is your opinion, the average casual players opinion is more like this: the ability to play a game how we like it, with people who are fun to pay with, no matter how the game turns out, is fun and makes us want to keep playing.

Dont be stupid. I honestly detest people like you. This is a nice light hearted idea. At least he isnt one of the morons out there making sprint threads.
I’m all about default/simple armor. I use default in halo 3 minus scout shoulders and default in reach minus the helmet and shoulders. I really don’t care for armor in general. Usually the default is the best. It’s small, gets the point across, and doesn’t look stupid like 90% of all the other armor in reach. I don’t want my spartan to look like a dump truck.
If armor customization is less in halo 4 then good. More resources spent on things that matter like gameplay.
Correction: keep and fix. In Reach, such things are unfixable. But in an entirely different Halo game that incorporates things from Reach, such things can be fixed.
