We’re only at Halo 4, DO NOT SHOW CHIEF’S FACE AT ALL 343.
The best way to do it is when Halo 6 comes out.
Split the campaign into two parts.
Put the first half on the disk and the 2nd half free DLC released 1 week after launch.
The reason for this is to hype up the revealing of Chief’s face, which will be shown in the 2nd half of the campaign.
It will be a major event that everyone will be tuned into.
IGN and Machinima will live-stream it and we’ll get to see Chief’s face for the first time with everyone.
Chief is probably the most iconic Video game Character ever, even more than Mario. He’s literally recognized by everyone, even if they don’t know his name. Don’t spoil the the revealing of his appearance by putting it in some trailer.
In one of the Making Halo 4 videos, they said they’ve put emphasis on showing Chief’s personality without needing to show his face, for them to go back on all that work and just simply show his face?

No it will be available to everyone to play.
The point of the stream is to make it a big event where the entire world gets to see it together.
But you can still download and play it yourself for free.
I actually don’t ever want to see Chief’s face. I’ve visualized the whole Halo series in my own way… seeing his face would make me have to stop visualizing it the way I always did.
Yeah, they should not have done that. You always just see the back of the head or a part of the chin. But showing him without his armor is already a very bad idea!!!
The same for the Didact! Why the hell do they reveal his appearance in that trailer??? Even though he is blurred, you now have an idea of how he looks like and what his face might be. They even show a big part of the mask! HEYY! What’s that? Revealing the nemesis before even playing the game???
They have stated that you will NEVER see his face. Ever. I personally think I would kill the character but then again my opinion isn’t the same as everyone else’s.
well during the scanned trailer it showed us alot of chiefs adult body except for his face. well at one point you can kind of see it but its a big blur.
anyhow this is how I actually imagined chief looking.
If they are going to reveal him reveal him when he might die in halo 6
If you read any of the book you would know what master chief as an adult already look like thus making anything related to showing or not his face meaningless,

You assume automatically that everyone actually has internet access, they don’t, some of my family only got it very recently.
If a massive reveal like the revealing of Chief’s face were to happen, it should be in-game, not on a website which has nothing to do with the game.

I’m assuming that by the time Halo 6 comes out, not having internet will be laughable.
And like I keep saying: IT WILL BE DOWNLOADABLE FOR EVERYONE. You can play it. The only reason it will be free DLC released after 1 week after Halo 6’s launch is to make it a major event for revealing Chief’s face and the end of this Trilogy. TV’s will stream it, but you can choose to not watch them and play the 2nd part by yourself first.

Well bro, they won’t reveal it anyway unless they discontinue halo and most people don’t even want to see it, sooo, why bother? And as Moa said, not everyone has Internet access, so if i were to buy Halo 6, not have live, and only get to play half the Campaign? It just simply wont work
They will likely only ever tease us with brief glimpses of his face, this is appropriate, its been a mystery to everyone, but we all have a picture by now of what he does indeed look like.
I am fine with them showing his face, he is a character, he should be explored as such but only if the story demands it.
I like the direction thats being taken to add more story to him, and everyone else involved in the various Spartan Programs and military, history, of the Halo Universe.

They guy getting operated on isn’t Chief, he has 013 on his arm.
We see him only as a kid, and we’ve known what he looked like as a child for quite some time now. You merely see the back of his head in the trailer.
