I’ll call it from here about what halo 4 will be like and I will stand by that.
Halo 4 will be a reach 2. The difference? Wow the br is back… The people who actually were good at halo and played all the time know how halo is supposed to be. 343 is leaving everyone who liked the trilogy core gameplay behind. Bungie did it and now 343 is doing it. Especially with sprint…I still can’t believe I even saw it in the trailer. I am crushed that they put sprint in halo once again…it’s such a stupid addition and was a disaster in reach. I don’t care how it works in halo 4, it should not be in halo. That is one of the main things that make halo unique. So i say to the people who say that we, the ones who have played year after year of halo, don’t know where these new games are headed, WE -Yoink!- I N G KNOW. ALL HAIL THE SELLOUTS 343.
ALSO LOOK UP ZIPPER, THE GAME COMPANY WHO MAKES SOCOM. LOOK AT SOCOM 4 AND WHAT THEY DID. SAME THING IS HAPPENING.
I think sprint should’ve been implemented in Halo someway, somehow even back in the Halo 1 days. In the novels it talks about how fast we are. Hell, even in Halo 3 if there was equipment that you could pick up and use that’ll boost your “walking” speed up by 20% for 20 seconds i’d be cool with that.

You’ve really seen 20-30 SECONDS of gameplay, and already making assumptions on how it will play. Why don’t you play the game first, and then come back

Or you know there in the middle of certain stage that take alot of man hrs and adding a PUBLIC(seeing as they do have a closed) BETA would postpone the games release, just so that people can play it for them selves when they could have release the game earlier and not have a beta i personal want the full game as soon as possible. They do have a CLOSED BETA and can get the SAME results from a CLOSED BETA that they could with a PUBLIC BETA, point being there is a BETA

First, I really doubt that
Second, that wouldnt be a bad thing (depending on your feelings towards Reach)

OR, they just don’t have time nore the resources to deal with a beta right now. Stop your -Yoink!- whining about no beta, and sprint. We’ve seen very little of the game, there is no reason to be judging it right this -Yoinking!- second. What you’re doing is looking at a Car and saying “Oh I’m going to have this problem, and this problem, I’m going to have to fix the damn thing X number of times, spend X amount of gas a year to fill up this car” before even buying the car. Sit back, relax watch the show, wait for the game to come out, give it a try, if you don’t like it, trade the game in for something else. You people act like once you buy the game it’s going to be premently attached to you for the rest of your life. It’s a damn game, most people buy it, play it, then once they either finish the campaign, or played it for a few months, they turn it in for another. If Halo comes out and SUCKS big time, worse than Reach, Oh well, that’s on 343i not you, all you will do is trade the game in for something else. What do you think I did with Halo Wars after I played it? I thought the gameplay in Halo Wars was a steaming pile of crap for an RTS, and I traded the game in, I didn’t go to Bungie or who ever and whined about every last damn thing, I just put the game down, and traded it in for a better game.

why because it have a couple thing you have yet to try within halo 4, Which could for all purposed play and work nothing like Reach.
Sprint. for example is not like it is in reach just for the fact there in to indicator bar, there is no huffing, and Base player speed is already higher Like in halo 2 and 3/ while sprint adds a boost of speed even greater, also kill time are faster which is more on par with halo CE and 2 and nothing like reach

Ok so they have been working on the game for 3 years and no beta? halo 3 had a beta! so did reach. Would you just realize, if they had a beta they would lose money because this game is going to cater to casuals?
I think you are wrong OP, Bungie and MS tried that already and it failed (reach). Ms is about to launch a new console (720) within a year or so and need their strongest IP to be stronger then ever to prevent people from migrating to Wii U or Ps4.
They need Halo to be bigger and better then ever before, they can’t risk another Reach or even annual released with blam! quality like CoD.
Halo 4 will be news, but not as in Reach, but as in news. Instead of copying from other games I think 343i will take the core Halo gameplay and expand upon it, make it better, just as Bungie should have done.

THEY HAVE A BETA
You just cant play it so stop being a baby. They have a closed beta meaning? They can get all the same info and find all the same bugs that they could get from a Public beta with out releasing and spoiling the game for everyone. Look up closed betas then come back and complain your only complaint will be that you just don’t get to play it and that’s it. and it funny people complaining about a beta when the only excuse they have for actually complaining is that you just dont get to see the game early OH SO SAD im sorry
