I always hear people at my school saying Halo is ripping off Call of Duty with classes, and insta-spawn (Is there kill cams idk?) well you could say Cod Ripped of Custom classes, from battlefield or they ripped off the voting system from Halo or Matchmaking system from Halo. The thing is some of those things I thought eventually would end up in a Halo Game with Reach we had armor abilities, and in invasion we basically had classes just pre-set, and not determined by you. So if anyone thinks that you obviously have only played CoD, and not any other game. This is my first post.
Its not like CoD and people that say that are either trolls, idiots, or are truly ignorant. We have plenty of good footage now and I didn’t see CoD, I SAW HALO!
Similarities aside, the are two completely different experiences. I understand why 343 is doing the things they’re doing, and respect it. I like load outs in call or duty, love the online too…but for the most part the game is really unbalanced. If 343 can add more customization but maintain a good balance I’ll be satisfied.

I don’t think it’s gonna be like CoD. Just because there are loadouts and instant respawns doesn’t mean it’s gonna be like CoD. We’ve seen enough gameplay (from MLG pros no less) that its obvious it won’t be like CoD. It may have some things in common with CoD, but it uses them differently. Plenty of people (even MLG players/pros) have said it feels like Halo. Halo 4 is Halo 4, not Call of Duty. If your friends think differently, they just need to see some gameplay, and then it should be obvious that it isn’t like CoD at all.
And no, there aren’t kill cams. If you need gameplay to prove it or anything else, here you go. And there are plenty more if your friends still need convincing.
Killcams are not in the game. and the additions, while CoD-like yes, are much better and more balanced than CoD will ever do.
you can’t spawn with a sniper rifle all the time once you hit the rank of (insert high ranking rank here) and Ordnance Drops aren’t kill streaks. they are given to you by doing everything good in Halo. and they’re not like a Pelican flying in and giving you 10 free kills.

This exactly. When I heard these new features, I thought to myself that this game would be like CoD and would be bad but after seeing that gameplay, my mind is at rest. It looks AMAZING besides a few tiny things that need tweaking such as Promethean vision and whatnot.
