Don’t even bother playing Warzone as a lone wolf random. The last handful of matches I’ve been in there’s zero mic users and my team couldn’t figure out how to wipe themselves with both hands. While coordinated and Req heavy opposition had people running up their kills to just under fifty while stomping on the cannon fodder that has been my typical team. It’s been so bad I’d almost suggest that Warzone require 6 man squads like the stupid Destiny Raids do just to make it appear like it’s balanced.
Halo has always treated the honest random as cannon fodder for teams. One day The Devs might work out why that’s a problem but I wont hold my breath waiting.
Nice suggestion but I CONSTANTLY try to cooperate and use teamwork and skill but I am 14 so I am instantly greeted with “Shutup you little ******” even though I have a better K/D and win ratio than most of them as well as outranking them in CSR and SR…what a world we live in!
No one ever talks in my region. Damn you Oceania, SPEAK UP FOR CHRISTS SAKE.
Mics are always important, but people should mind their surrounding when using it. I hate to play while listening to somebody’s dog barking, sister’s music, mom’s telling them to go take a shower or any other noise ruining other people’s experience just to be able to coordinate a fireteam.
If you don’t like that people aren’t using their mics, then why don’t YOU stop playing Warzone? Some people don’t even own a mic, much less want to talk to some random people that constantly swear at their teammates. It’s a game. I play for fun, as most people do. Not everyone is interested in communication in a video game, in fact most people aren’t.
Also, I’ve never once, in any Halo game, heard anyone that is using a mic actually supporting their team, or helping one another out. All you hear “-Yoink- you, you -Yoinking!- noob”, and “I -Yoinked!- yer sister”, and who could forget “GO GO GO you stupid -Yoink-, he’s right -Yoinking!- behind you! -Yoink-!!!”
I like my games nice and quiet, so I can concentrate on the game, and not idiots screaming in my ear.
I just played warzone as a no mic lone wolf random and I was a huge part of my teams success, so eat it
I had the same problem today. I think I was on teams that lost 1000-400 6 rounds in a row? 2 of them had the reactor destroyed…it was infuriating. No matter what I was never placed on a team that could even make it an interesting match. And everyone owns a mic…it comes with the console they are playing on.

That’s how i roll too. I play how i want and still win or do good.
I paid 50 bucks for the game so I will.
I actually do better on my own in solo searches then compared to when I play with friends.
Don’t play Warzone if you are a human,
human.
Don’t tell me what to play.
Seriously. For a laid back, casual gametype, it certainly demands the utmost in communication and teamwork to succeed. Almost as though it was meant to be a money-pit rather than a casual gametype…
