Being the casual that I am (yes I’ve played Halo, a lot), I prefer to be entertained more than challenged the first run. However there is entertainment in being challenged with better AI. To be honest I don’t know a game with better AI than Halo.

Apparently this game is going to be the hardest so if you want to have fun and if you want everything to be paced how it was meant to play normal because it is the “new heroic.” Bungie use to say heroic was the way to play Halo I’m assuming that has changed from what I heard. I strongly recommend playing legendary second and skipping heroic all together unless there are some nice achievements for it.

I shall not be doing legendary solo first. Reason: I will need to be introduced to the challenge that the Promethean’s pose. Once I understand that, they shall fall beneath my feet and victory crouches.

nah, every single halo game ive played, ive always played on legendary either by myself or splitscreen co-op, so halo 4 will be no different, even if they say its the hardest halo game :wink:

I always played Heroic Solo first. But now I’ll think of trying Legendary Solo. Depends on my mood on the 6th of November.

I think Normal will be fine for me, for my “Story-driven” first playthrough. Then I’ll run through it after gathering strategies on LASO Solo like I’ve done with Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST and Halo Reach.

^ Please tell that isn’t how you really talk… Anyways, I’ll hopefully be playing it on Legendary. It’s kind of a tradition to play it first on the hardest.

I’m doing the same. I do legendary co-op with my brother and then I’ll go through it Legendary Solo later.
