I’m sure this has been said before, but I’ll say it again. Don’t play this game if you’re a consistent quitter. Btb, warzone, action sack, etc. Those are the casual playlists. If you go into a ranked game of doubles, quitting does one of two things. It makes it a helluva lot harder for me to win, and it makes it a lot easier for the other guys to beat me. It will count as a loss for you anyways, so just stay. Protecting your k/d? Don’t. It’s an irrelevant stat. The only thing that ever mattered in Halo is winning. If you’re not winning, you’re losing. The only way to win is to play… Guess you could call it a play to win game. Yeah with that, I’ll see myself out.
I would agree with you in several of the claims you have made but saying that K/D is an irrelevant stat is stretching it. Several people look at that stat when deciding who to play with and who to look out for in a match. It sucks that it happens but it is something that you really can’t say really matters. People do care about all of it.
Having people quit on you in doubles would definitely be terrible, I never play doubles without a friend.
amen Spartan!

I know people care about it. What I meant by irrelevant is it doesn’t mean anything. Sure it’s a solid quick glance stat that can give you an estimate of someone’s skill, but it’s just an estimate. And not even an accurate one. I’ve beaten countless people with way higher k/d then me, across all Halo games.
I can play with you when i’m on dude. Just add me and we can figure something out
Having someone quit on your team is a standard test on how strong your back is.
I just wish I knew why they’d quit when you’re in the lead, especially when you’re up by 10+
Agreed
People these days don’t know how to lose with dignity. They’d rather leave their team high and dry than suffer a loss. I saw another thread where a player had “found” a way to quit without being banned. Ridiculous. I decided a long time ago that I would NEVER under ANY circumstance quit a game. It’s not even for the sake of my team necessarily. There have been rounds that I thought my team would have been better off without me because my K/D that game was awful. It’s more for my own pride really. That’s not saying I don’t get mad at a loss. I totally do. lol I just refuse to quit.
