When they play, They’re usually just heavy weight, and you have to carry harder.
Honestly rather have them not play.
Plus, We’ll find games faster. <3
I 100% disagree.
I’d rather they quit, as that would improve the probability of victory ten fold. 3v4 is better than 4v4 with an idle on my team going 0-14 for the match, also messing with our spawns and getting us trapped.

No, this is the situation when they don’t play. If someone is just standing around, not only do they give the opposing team easy kills but your team have to work extra hard because of that advantage.
Yeah nah I 100% disagree, if I search a match I expect my team to play & put the effort in the best they can, I don’t search matches to have 1 or 2 teammates to idle the whole match leaving weight for whole team & free kills for the other team along with messing with our spawns causing the team to be spawn trapped
This is Halo, not AFK arena

Are you high when you wrote this?
- Having Idle Players does not mean the time between each match will be cut in half. I’ve had some matches connecting session and load instantly while some of them felt like years flew by. - They are dead weight. 75% of them pretend to be AFK. They spend at least half the match pretending to be idle. Then at some point, they will go after the hill to get a couple of points or get some kills so there 0 kills and __ deaths makes it seem like they played from the start and that their skill level appears lower then it probably is. Every now and then after my death, i would respawn, pass by the idle player and still see them in that same spot. Some of them get killed and i see them idle wherever they respawn. - I may even lead the enemies to the idle player just so their deathless game will come to an end. - It’s already a disadvantage with idle players. Why? Because they aren’t pulling their weight. They become free kills. They can’t go after objectives (unless an oddball flies their way or a hill spawns on them). And it requires more effort from my team to ensure victory. But it can end badly if most of my team is not the same skill level or allow the enemies to lockdown the map. The only exception is when both teams have the same skill level and roughly the same amount of active players. - When i go into a match, i play and try to do my best. I use power weapons if i can get them and not die instantly. I unintentionally try not to betray my teammates. I expect the same of them. - If you have to idle in a game just to get the finishing xp, then you need to get out of matchmaking.
While I disagree and feel any one that comes across them needs to report them. However if they feel the need to be idle just because they are to lazy to earn their xp they really need to only idle in FFA search. At least then they aren’t hurting any teams in any way. I honestly don’t care when I see them in FFA from time to time I take my free kill and then keep looking for them hahaha… Idle players just need to stay out of team stuff. But for the record players should never idle but as long as there is an arbitrary xp system there will be players trying to exploit it one way or another.
Well I can agree with you on some points. For me, I only play swat currently. An idle player usually dies less than an active player in swat. The games don’t last as long, and if the map isn’t an open type, it takes them longer to find them. Seeing how you need more kills, and medals, to get max performance XP (since the 1.5x’s increase was made), I need all the help I can get. The less the players on my team, the easier that is to get. Of course I want to win, and in swat, even 1v4 it’s easy to win, depending on how stacked the other team is. All that said, most of the time I’d rather get 18-20 kills, with max performance XP, and lose, then get 10 kills, while winning. The grind is real, and every XP counts lol… Anyways, the idlers have never gone away, and some days it’s way worse than others. I still can’t believe people are risking it, and going through it, to gain like 20k XP an hour… It’s the embodiment of doing 6x’s the amount of work, to get out of work.
No. They ruin the game for everyone. If you have -Yoink- to do, do it before you turn on your xbox. If I had it my way they’d all be banned along with their real accounts.
Strong disagree.
We had a “teammate” in a slayer match Friday night who was AFK for half the match. But, since this was Halo CE and Halo CE spawns you near teammates when possible, this idle player who tucked himself into a little corner in one of the bases effectively kept the rest of us spawn trapped.

A similar situation happened to me except my team were herding together like sheep
When Reach come on PC I had no afk, but now I’m back on xbox playing H2C, I’m finding one a lot. I’ve been reported everyone for cheating/cheating/afk

I would rather have an AI Bot take there place, until an actual player joins and plays to win.
