This was a tear-jerking quote for me. It represented both Cortana’s attitude because of having to leave Chief, and it represented the end of Halo 2; the wait to see what happened in Halo 3.
Who’s with me when I say this quote needs to return at some heart-wrenching moment in Halo 4, or at least sometime in the Trilogy?
Yeah, that was a great qoute. But there are a ton of great lines in Halo games. But none really go into other games. I honestly don’t think it should be used again. Maybe one other time worded differently to make it fit the situation. Personally I like qoutes from past games being the name for achievements. like “A Monument to All your sins” and so on.
It was a bit to ‘girly’ for a lack of a better word. I liked the emotion, but it was a bit ‘well this is awkward…’. Much preferred when she said goodbye to him at the end of Halo 3.

this was a heartfelt quote thats for sure, And i hold no doubt it’ll return somewhere within the Halo series.
Watch this space.
I loved that quote. I loved even more when Chief finds her on Cortana (is it on High Charity?) and she says, “You found me…” followed by the comedic line, “I do know how to pick 'em.”
The emotion found is Halo is not found in any other game. I never find myself crying in other games when a protagonist dies but Johnson; so much emotion over something that isn’t even real. That is the essence of a good video game.
