Don't like Halo 5? Stop playing it (No, seriously)

Your complaints will most likely go unheard, and 343 probably doesn’t care what you have to say unless you’re investing time in their eSport scene (lol console eSports). The only way they’ll begin to explore ways to fix the problems you’re having is if the population starts dropping. Stop giving them your time, and stop giving them attention. 343 is expecting to take a hit from the upcoming games (Black Ops, Battlefront, Fallout), and if it’s an amount that scares Microsoft, they’ll be forced to listen.

Or you can do both. Just complain constructively and not destructively. If enough of the same issue is brought forward it’ll be noticed.

Nice Gamertag. Lol.

Yeah, I only rented the game. Didn’t trust enough to buy it. Once Black Ops 3 comes out this Friday, I’m returning it.

Whether a complaint is constructive or destructive rests entirely upon your point of view.

Meh, didn’t have any expectations with this game to begin with.
I’m just anticipating forge lol.

Did you seriously make that account just to say this?

Oh brother…

Adding constructive criticism and offering ideas for fixes or patches would most likely be seen as constructive over useless banter and attscks on the devs or the game/community. Just use your common sense and word it correctly and it shouldn’t be an issue.

1.) You can’t compare Halo, or any FPS game to Fallout. Apples and Oranges

2.) Battlefront is owned by EA. Good luck on them beating Halo. Lets be serious.

3.) CoD is good, however, it’s more of a realistic game. More so than Halo. It also has it’s own fan base, so people will flock to where they belong. If you don’t like halo, don’t play it. I will continue to play Halo with some CoD because i like both, but favor Halo much more than any other game.

4.) I’m surprised you “wonder” why 343I doesn’t listen when people say “lol console ESports”. Like, hello?

That’s not completely true. Constructive criticism is stating possible reasons as to why some things may be wrong. You might even state possible solutions, or other ideas on how to fix the problems, or make plausible changes.

Destructive criticism is just blaming the company for a “bad game” or “poor game design”, while not only attacking them further, but also not offering any way to help solve the problem. Not everyone will have an answer, but addressing the problem in an appropriate way will help them see your point of view better and not disregard it. Not to mention, if you’re too vague, the problem will never get fixed. Hard to fix a “bad game” when “no one” knows what’s so “bad” about it.

Personally, Halo 5 is doing exceptionally well despite the fact that they gutted a lot of game mode settings. That right there is my biggest issue and beef. I’m hoping they add them (different / more game modes) in the future. I also made a thread about it explaining my thoughts on it without directly attacking them. It’s really not hard to do.
