Don't like Halo 4 so far....

I really don’t like what I’ve learnt so far for Halo 4’s Multiplayer. I can tell it will flop.

Campaign and Spartan Ops looks amazing though.

well i can tell it wont flop from the numbers of pre orders.

It just means I get to enjoy this game even more this fall.

Oh, how can you be so sure? Just because you don’t like it doesn’t mean it will flop.

I bed to differ. I know a lot of people are upset about 343 adding in so many new ideas to the game of Halo. I’ll be the first to admit they jacked some stuff from COD. Loadouts, ordinance drops, tactical packages, progressive ranking and even armor abilities which came in reach were all ideas in call of duty before they were in halo. But with all of that comes a great new world. I personally welcome these changes. I know they aren’t going to work exactly as they do in COD which is why I believe this game will do well in campaign and infinity. From what I’ve seen so far I don’t think there is anything that is overpowered. But again this is all from what we’ve seen in videos and read online so the game could differ from how we THINK it is going to play. This is just my 2 cents on the matter.

Maybe, just maybe 343i is trying to show players there is more to this game than MP. Spending money only to play one facet of the game seems like a waste. I dont go to a amusement park only to ride one ride.

You think when Black Ops added emblems into the game all the COD fans were complaining it was being made like Halo? Hmmm.

That aside: don’t like the mulitplayer, don’t play it. Many will play it though.

I’m very looking forward to the Campaign and the continuation of the story…

Haha, after watching Halo 4 multiplayer gameplay I personally believe that the multiplayer looks great. The game is fast paced again, even the AA’s don’t look too bad (in my opinion). Even PV (which I am a little iffy about) doesn’t look like it’ll be too hard to handle (at least for me :P).

I’m not a huge fan of the modifications but I can deal with that, maybe I’ll come to like them, who knows . . . the game hasn’t come out yet. But I don’t think the game will flop, in fact most of my friends who have never liked Halo in the first place are beginning to take interest.

Everything seems like Reach 2.0.
The art-design, the weapon sounds and the weapons. I really don’t like that.

Agree,campaign and spartan ops just look awesome.
I’m personally excited for multiplayer,all the different changes 343 has put in Halo!!And the graphics!The graphics look almost as awesome as Crysis2,and if not as awesome,then better!

The Reach art design; Terribly Un-Haloish. Make it go back to the Halo 1+2 art design.

The weapons look and sound like Reach’s.

The Vehicle designs look like Reach’s.

The Armour Abilities have been expanded.

Kill streaks.

Perks.

Promethean Vision.

Hardlight Shield.

No dual wielding.

No Elites in MP.

The Spartan Multiplayer Armour is atrocious as well as all the helmets, they should return it to the traditional Mljnoir helmet and armour; I mean COME ON. That was one of the BIGGEST problems with Reach. Part of the reason it didn’t feel like Halo was because the Mljnoir armour was gone.
Also every helmet is atrocious.

There’s no voices to the Multiplayer.

The new MP guy sounds weird.

Reach’s ranking system.

Spartan points.

What else?

The Covenant weapons don’t look alien.

SCRIPTING. FRICKING SCRIPTING IN THE CAMPAIGN.

Quick time events.

There’s a lot more I can’t think of.

half the things you listed arn’t even in reach. you mean more military looking? TBH it doesn’t look like reaches art. it looks smoother.
NONE of the weapons bar the PP and magnum and AR look remotley like reachs. reaches weapons sounded loud and powerful halo 4’s sound silenced weak. and they arn’t the final build. the sounds will be different in the final product. the vehicles arn’t going to drasticly change bro. we new in reach that AA’s were a concept sticking. why would they drop a new idea after one game? it can and has been improved. Personel ORD drops are NOTHING like kill streaks. the only similarity they share is you kill someone and get a point twards it. but the drop isn’t anything like a kill streak and everything you do in game adds to your drop and the drop is different depending on your performance. besides its only in infinity slayer.

i have nothing to say on perks. they arn’t like CODS and they are balanced unlike CODS they don;t give you a huge advantage like CODS. PV is balanced. end of story. people are worrying over nothing. whats exactly wrong with HLS? explosions go through and it seems melee do as well. all it blocks are bullets. the user can’t even fight back. duel weilding has been gone for a long time. just because its a h3 sequal doesn’t mean everything in h3 will carry to h4. no elites? you probably hardly ever played as one if you could.
the helmets in reach were not a BIG problem. there were never complaint threads about them. the armor your seeking is spartan 2’s just because were all spartans doesn’t mean we all get to wear the same armor. varitey is the spice of life my friend. voices in MP? im confused.

the “new guy” is not new. he is the same voice actor from all the halo games. he just sounds more…excited then the last games. go look it up. HA ok halo 4 does NOT have reaches ranking system. it has a progression system you get more points for playing the game more fore kills more for doing the objective. its BETTER. there is a second rank system. A-7 was a place holder in a vid we saw. think of A-z as your 1-50 rank and 1-100 or whatever it is can fluctuate from game to game. the whole ranking system is a step up from reach. the covy weapons shoot plasma and look blue and purple. for -Yoinks!- sake the carbine and PP look almost exactly the same! don’t know why your complaining about scrpiting or quick time events.

basicly your worried over nothing. but hey if you want to be thats fine by me. just one less person i don’t have to hear -Yoinking!- in game.

  1. Reach’s art direction, isn’t imitated at all in Halo 4, unless you mean that Halo 4 actually has decent graphics. It resembles Halo 3’s art design, but with better lighting and graphical fidelity.

  2. Again, this is due way more to graphical fidelity than anything, and the weapons sound far better than Reach’s

  3. The vehicle designs look almost the same across every damn Halo game

  4. I could see your problems with AA’s returning, although I think differently.

  5. The only reason you dislike this idea is because Call of Duty rewards players for killstreaks. Admit it.

  7. It looks OP at the moment, but 343 is still working on balancing it, wait til the final product.

  8. Slows down players using it, can be flanked, players are still vulnerable to splash damage. Really, useless as hell at anything other than long range.

  9. Dual wielding killed balance, in that dual-wielded weapons were generally useless on their own. I don’t WANT to see it come back.

  10. As for the elites, it’s really not that big of an issue, and I’d rathyer see them gone from multiplayer than shrunk down to fit a Sparatan’s hitbox.

  11. the helmets (some, anyway) look alright to me, and I’ll just pick one I like and stick with it.

  14. You expected some other way of unlocking weapons and armor? And we will be getting a skill-determining system, but there’s no word on whether it factors into ranking at all.

  15. Again, how the hell would you get things in a progression system. I like these, because they tie multiplayer and Spartan Ops together.
