Honestly 343 what the fck is going on? No doubles, pure FFA slayer, or snipers, no ranking system (I think we all know that the invisible ranking system doesnt do anything). Halo was doing great and then all of the features that make Halo great and set it apart from being just another FPS were taken out. Ever wonder why Halo 2 and 3 were so successful? Its because just about every ranked game would be competitive. Every game people were trying as hard as they possibly could to win and get their highest skill up. The competitive aspect of Halo has dropped so low that it isn’t even going to be on the mlg circuit. Halo fcking made MLG what it is today! For one, for -Yoinks!- sake stop bypassing the word filter. It’s against the rules here. Two, the community won’t let Halo die. The competitive community is doing what they can to address the issues and 343 has admitted they messed up. As long as there is a community willingly to tell 343 this is how things are supposed to work. Halo will survive. It’s all just a matter of pushing them which telling from the bulletin 2 weeks ago we pushed enough and they’ve admitted.
And FYI, they are adding team doubles. If you read the bulletin 2 weeks ago…you’d know this.

I wonder why some people can’t take what the competitive community says seriously? You can get your point across without swearing.
Double is coming in, just be patient. 343 has actually started fixing things too and improving Halo 4, so its in the process of begin fixed.
Halo has been dead since Reach. As soon as all the vets realize that, these forums will be a peaceful place.

I played Reach for two years and then was handed Halo4. My patients are gone.

Anyhow, the game is improving and moving in the right direction. Just give it some time, see how the TU does.

Actually MLG dropped Halo altogether. Without a backbone, competitive Halo will fall apart quickly. Thats a solid 1/4 of the community, the ones who play to win.
Another fourth would be the customs guys, who have next to nothing to work with here, as h3 had better custom options.
The other half would be the casual infection, who are rapidly moving to CoD, and wont stick to any game for long, hence the title “casual” gamer.
