But I am wondering, I plan on getting the digital version on Microsoft.com. now my question is :
- If I pay for deluxe, will I get a steel book mailed to me?
- Is there tax when you buy online?
(BTW, get it from Microsoft…the price is better)
I doubt they will mail the steel book. I could be wrong but I a certain buying digitally only gives digital goodies. (Physical all the way!)
I think online tax depends on where you live. Some states(or countries) have different tax laws for digital goods.

No, they won’t. I say if you want something more than the game, go physical. If you just want the game, go digital.
I’m sure it comes the animated fall of reach, Warzone req bundle, and the pre-order bonuses. In my opinion the Physical limited edition is a better deal. It comes with the statue and all the dossier stuff for the same price.
Digital is convenient because you don’t need to swap discs to play the game just launch it, but I do enjoy holding discs and getting cool collectibles.
You probably get around $20 of REQ packs. Just a guess though. When you buy digital you don’t get any collectable items.

Or $99.99 for the LE. The only difference between the LE and LCE (besides the price tag) is that Chief and Locke statue.

The Digital Deluxe is $89.99, the physical counterpart is the Limited Edition which is $99.99. You are actually paying less money for less content so I don’t see the issue.

You can’t “play the game a week early”. You can predownload it but the servers won’t open until midnight 10/27.

This was my question, sorry. So I buy the 100 dollar Microsoft online version, I get steel book shipped or is it a “digital” steel book? I care not for the disc, but steel book is a collectible. Not on the level of statue of course, but for 249.99 Cortana should come to your house with offers of -Yoink!-. Most I will pay is 99

Pay the $99 then. They will not send you a Steel Case if you buy the Digital Deluxe.
