i have fall out 4 played about 6 hours iv had nothing but trouble the game missions are -Yoink- things go wrong in it and the over all game is -Yoink- stick with halo trust me your going to have more fun with halo that that bucket of -Yoink- heck wait till just cause 3 comes that will be 10 times better save your money or go get somthing better i regret getting it let me down so much was looking foward to it.
With 7 days game time logged in FO4 and only about 13hrs logged in H5…
And this from a guy who’s probably logged more hours in the original Halo then some of the devs?
Nope. Fallout 4 is a completely different game that allows players a wide open world to really just do whatever you want.
Halo games have A story campaign and then some multiplayer.
Buy Halo for a playthrough or two of the story, then play some of it’s classic multiplayer.
Buy Fallout 4 and make a character from scratch. Complete any missions you want, how you want to complete them. Be good. Be bad. Never have the same fight happen the same way twice.
The choice is yours. Both are fun.
they are 2 different games. I have a lot of time in both but I currently prefer Halo
I have pumped 60 plus hours into the game and am loving it.
My only problem is that a lot of the quest don’t feel open ended like they did in Fallout 3 and New Vegas and the dumb down diologe to fit in with the fully voice character, who I enjoy so it doesn’t bother me to bad.
But yeah, I go from Halo 5, Fallout 4, and Star Wars battlefront.
When I want a competitive multiplayer with tight controls. I play Halo 5
When I want to play a long and compelling campaign, I play Fallout 4
When I want stupid super casual multiplayer, Star Wars Battlefront
When I want a casual yet mildly competitive multiplayer, I play Battlefield 4
If I want super Casuals Co-op campaign with friends. I play Destiny
Every game has it’s strengths. I learned long ago that no game will EVER cater to every audience. So when your in a certain mode, find the game the fits that niche and go play it. Don’t expect a game that wasn’t fully designed for it to fill the role that it really isn’t meant to fill.
Why I don’t understand all the casual players wanting Halo 5 to be a casual game. It isn’t. It wasn’t designed to be. It was designed to be a competitive game, so you need to treat it as such. When you do, you will have a lot of fun in it. If you want a casual game, find the game that was designed for the casual mindset in the 1st place.
who are you to tell us what to play?

40% of halo players are casual. Casual playlists have been a staple since halo 2. Not everyone liked competitive games. Ill just play Reach, 10 times more content than halo 5 IMO.
If you want to play with microtransactions to unlock stuff
Play Halo 5.
If you want to spend 90% of your time shifting through loot menus and loading screens
Play Fallout 4.
This is like sitting there and thinking “i want some toast” and then comparing a toaster to a kettle on which would be better to make the toast. In other words, what!?

But I’m saying that Halo 5 wasn’t designed for the pure casual community. You can see so with its launch. Doesn’t matter if the community is casual. The game isn’t. Hense when I want my stupid casual fun. I play Battlefield, Destiny, or Battlefront

You know you can unlock everything without spending a dime. So the MT debate is moot
> DONT GET FALL OUT 4 STICK WITH HALO
Too late. Sorry OP.
I will say this though, they’re two different games. one is a single player game, and the other is a multiplayer game. Each is entirely different and really can’t be compared. With that said, I’ve definitely spent more time playing F4 than I did H5 and I’ve had H5 since day one and I feel like i got my money’s worth with F4, can’t say the same for H5.

I love hearing that sentence. There is not a single point in time where you HAVE to buy a REQ pack with real money.
If you’re a real money spender from the beginning, it actually hurts your profits.

I know. I dont mind them. I was just throwing out something a lot of people seemed to hate Halo 5 for.

Not your opinion, it’s actually true. Halo Reach, and even 4 had more content at launch than Halo 5, which says a lot. Reach had firefight, an awesome forge system, a decent sized campaign, lots of MP game-modes and maps. Halo 5 has no forge, a really poor campaign ( for a halo title), few maps, few gametypes, and that’s about it. At least Halo 5 has really fun gameplay and good weapon balancing for the most part.
And I was kidding about Fallout 4 being 90% loot menus and loading screens. It is more like 50%. And the other 50% is walking.
2 different games, But both Amazing
I’m not very interested in fall out because it only single player, but I did enjoy far cry 4 with my friends and family.
I’m interested in elder scrolls online, but I don’t know if it plays like skyrim or if it’s much different.
But I really enjoyed skyrim but I don’t want to play by myself anymore. So I don’t even really buy single player games until they are cheap.
I’ve never bought any games since Halo 5 came out, Halo 5 was the only game that I have left in my room… cause! I love it
People are gonna buy/play what they want to play. Not sure why this is even a thread.
