Hello 343 yes people still play Halo 5… Don’t forget about your new and old players. No new maps, no new customization, honestly no new anything… No shame in honoring loyal and new players who are still playing Halo 5. I’m excited for Infinite all the same though!

Must not have played H5 if you think there is nothing new in the game. You may want to load it up and check it out. There are maps exclusive to H5 and there are remixes of old maps for a nice tough of classic Halo. Customization is kinda lacking since most of the armor and helmet are ugly and non functional looking. But being able to change assassination animations is nice. We got several new vehicles in H5. As far as what is to come to H5 yeah there will be no new content but at least they are still bringing playlist changes and there is even BTB refresh in the works so it’s not like they aren’t supporting the game.
They haven’t forgotten about us at all. They’re thinking so much about us that they’re making an entirely new game. If that’s not caring about the players, then I don’t know what is anymore.
I just hope that the full game gets on pc one day. Forge is great but I’m worried the matchmaking will get deserted once mcc is all on pc.
I believe Halo infinite will show people what 343 industries is capable of. And we’ll all be very pleased. By the way they do care about the community as a whole, and they listen to player feedback. Many might not really relies it.
I mean, Halo 5 got roughly 1 and a half year of support with new stuff (maps, cosmetics, weapons, etc.) for free and I can’t stress that enough. It’s more than most games get with a few exceptions, but we can’t complain at all with what we had. They kept making balance changes and refreshing playlists and map rotations after the last content update so it’s not like the game was abandoned. For new content I guess we’ll have to wait for Infinite, but overall the Halo 5 life cycle was pretty much standard for games nowadays.
Not sure what you’re talking about. I think H5 reached its memory limit which is why they can’t add anything else, but we did get the Targetmaster skins some months ago. We also got new maps in the Doubles refresh, updated maps in the FFA refresh and we’re gonna get new maps in the BTB refresh which is coming out soon. It may not be to your liking, but it is something. You also have to take into account that the majority of 343 most likely working on Infinite so they probably can’t spare a lot of resources for H5.
