It seems that the end is at hand for quite a few sites that have been with the halo franchise for years. API keys created leaderboards and stats analysis for Halo that otherwise never would have existed.
Leaderboards have kept Halo fresh and interesting for a large portion of the community. It gives some players a reason to play and something to work and compete for. Keeping the leaderboards off site insures that they have better monitoring (keeps boosters down)… after all who is better at keeping the leaderboards clean than the fans themselves?
How many of you use this as your only place to share you love of Halo? Do the API stats matter to you?
