All they are doing is giving people abilities to suit their play style.
For example, I would use wetworks because I like to get assassinations so it would be ideal that I sprint quietly so they don’t hear me. It is also ideal that my assassinations are quicker so I can quickly escape and have a less chance of being yoinked/showstopped. That is just me though.
If you like to drive then use operator and if you like to snipe then use rouge.
The possibilities are endless and let your team form strategies. Imagine a big team game where the rouge grabs the sniper, operator gets warthog, and Pathfinder on the warthog turret.
Just because you don’t have the ideal specialization for the job doesn’t mean you can’t assassinate or drive vehicles as regularly and cause havoc. It just means that the people who were prepared get an small boost.
If you hate specializations then use pioneer and all you will do is get more xp. Some people don’t need the boost.
> Exactly. All they’re doing is enforcing the use of our OWN playstyles, rather than a pre-set variety of classes.

> What, you want to be EXACTLY THE SAME as EVERYBODY ELSE? Okay. Go back to Halo: CE then.
Halo is not a class based game, it is an arcade shooter.
If you played Halo 3, would you expect classes and perks?
If you played and Halo game would you expect that?
When you take out the Halo part and add in the mainstream elements you are left with a shell of a game geared to sell to the casual gamer.

Most fps games are moving towards a more personalized style gameplay, halo is just adapting and halo 3 is still online if you want to be all equal.

It is not adapting, it l=is lowering itself to have a more mainstream appeal. This is not what Halo is about.
I also guarantee you most of these people in here have never played Halo 3.
