Dont expect any good forge until halo 5.

The Xbox 360 is being maxed out as it is. They would be really pushing it if they try to add more and better forge items. just look at the sacrifice Reach made with bland objects and it all being on one map.

wait till the Xbox 720, then forge will be much better.

They can do it. Far Cry 2 did it, hell, if they had a dedicated multiplayer disc, they could do a ridiculous amount. It’s got nothing to do with the 360.

Forge is already amazing. All we need is another Forge World or two as DLC, to renew interest in Forge and silence the many irritating, shallow, thoughtless complaints about “seas of grey”.

Points to Halo 3’s Forge items

Far Cry 2 had a terrain editor.

but think about adding actual things to forge, like ODST drop pods that can be used or a real flyable pelican. theses things would make games so much fun! and they wouldn’t have to be on matchmaking if they were unbalanced.

I thought halo 3 had better forge because instead of grey you had things like forklifts, mesh crates and other aesthetic items.

Halo reach is a sea of grey and its unappealing.

Guy above me, elaborate on the point you made about halo 3?

You know, Halo 3 didn’t have a giant Forge World like Reach. That’s the reason for the a fore mentioned “sea of grey”. Bungie sacrificed graphical fidelity for Forgability, something their community claimed to have no problem with. But God forbid Bungie listened and got spat on for it.
