Don't do it

Idk about you guys but if you see me in a turret of a warthog and there is no driver it’s because I put it there and don’t want to be moved. Don’t hop in and drive me into gunfire just so I can lose my REQ. -Yoinks!-

This is unfortunately a recurring thing with me. Doesn’t bother me that much, though.

Wouldn’t bother me as much if people were good drivers. Unfortunately most are not.

I’ve lost several ONI warthogs that what…

Yeah, that’s why we need more communication in Halo.

I’ve started jumping in the drivers seat and not moving. The moment we start to get overrun and the gunner is getting hit, I hit the gas and make our escape. I try and loop around once our shields recharge and get back to the spot.

That’s a double edged sword my friend. If you use your microphone and tell them not to move you, however you will be exposing yourself to the wonderful world of public chat, all the kids screaming in the background and heavy mouth breathers. It’s almost not worth it.

I’ve lost many a hog that way.

Good-Guy-Randomer tactics here  Shall start employing it myself

If you guys do that on the MCC you better hope I’m not on the enemy team. I’m notorious for sniping out everyone in fully loaded warthogs and the driver or gunner are usually the first to go. Makes it especially easy if the hog isn’t moving.

Yeah, I wonder who keeps doing that… <<…>>…<<walks away>>

Get mic. Problem solved.

We do have mics. The problem is that people:

  1. Don’t understand what we’re doing when they see us.
  2. Don’t listen when we tell them not to move us.

I was just giving support fire, when someone took the wheel and drove into an armory. (obviously we both died).
