As much as im hoping something does, especially something BIG, don’t get all worked up if 343i do all but nothing besides a celebration announcement. There has to be something coming, (according to some rumors) but if nothing like that does, don’t lash out at 343i for not living up to the dreams you dreamt of yourself.
Then again, I hope and know something does happen on Nov 15th! 343i are Gods of creating hype at the right moments

They done a great job with Infinite, I’m easy come easy go, sure I’'d love to play it early, it most likely will do, but 8 Dec only 3 weeks away so np 
You’re 100% correct, don’t lash out at 343i, as a supporter of 343i, this would be a huge move if they do it !
I personally hope so, but won’t cry if it doesn’t.
Probably showing my lack of expertise in game production here but I’d almost rather they took the extra few weeks to make sure everything was perfect for release (notwithstanding changes 343 said they’ll make after launch). If that’s not realistic, then of course I’d enjoy an early release, but a week ago nobody was expecting it so hard to get too worked up about it.
As hopeful as I am, I am also fully prepared to put on my clown makeup and shoes come Monday.
There will most certainly be individuals who get angry if there’s nothing of that sort on Nov 15th, when nothing has been officially announced.

It didn’t take long for people to start bringing up 343’s lack of comment, as proof that the rumours are true.
They will be the same people who, come Tuesday, will be bashing 343 for letting their hype get out of control.
I specifically set aside 2 weeks from work starting on the 8th. If it comes out on Monday, cool, I get to know if I’d be better off spending my time off doing other things, if it comes out on the 8th, great I put that time aside for a reason and that gives me more time to purchase and have my laptop be delivered for the optimal experience.
No downside for me.
either way though if this does happen i’m assuming the campaign will still release on the 8th so your time off won’t be in vain right?
I’ve got a surprise week off this week so if multiplayer does come out tmro i’m in for a treat, and a long weekend the weekend of the 8th followed by christmas leave shortly after so not all that bad for me i guess
Same people are going to hype themselves up and be forever disappointed in the end.

well Razor are having a stream and some other promoters are doing stuff and I’m sure I heard Xbox are going to be doing some sort of stream to celebrate Halo/Xbox 20th anniversary so best bet would be to check at the source xbox stream that starts on Monday, November 15 at 10am PT/1pm ET/6pm GMT. If you are watching from Australia, that translates to Tuesday, November 16 at 4am AEST.
If multiplayer gets released tomorrow, great. If it doesn’t I don’t mind at all. Been waiting years for this game and a few more weeks is fine by me. (got Forza Horizon 5 to play!)

People who keep bringing the fact that 343i and Microsoft not having denied the rumor is a sign that it’s going to happen don’t realize one thing…
As a company trying to advertise your game as much as possible, having big rumors about it spread like a virus all over the internet, gives you hell of a lot of coverage…
So why in the hell would you go out in public and right away shut it down and stop all the talks about it or to the game the rumor is related to…
So you don’t. and you tell people you didn’t want to give any clue of any sort and you waiting for the 20th anniversary to actually reveal whatever it was you wanted to reveal in the first place!!
oh and i almost forgot, Forza 5 early access was actually advertised and announced way before it the Eaccess went live, why? because you want the most people to take a day off at their job to boost the numbers on day 1 !
real celebration will be 8th when we all celebrate that the game is out.
