For me the BattlePass isn’t worth, I regret a bit for even buying (I know it was optional etc…) but come on when you buy something you expect to get something nice but the cosmetics are so lame, I’m hoping the next one have better stuff, I’m not spending any more money for just two or three items that I really enjoy.

don’t get me wrong, the grind is there… but it’s a reasonable grind. 10 levels per week on average when doing the weeklies and what not, and given the playlist additions, ain’t that bad now. it’s actually kinda fun to grind now… all be it once everything is done no reason to return but i digress.
you’re dumb for not only spending so much and thus destroying the current borked progression system, and any reason to return for yourself. but, worst sin, YOU REWARDED 343/MICROSOFT FOR BAD BEHAIVIOR. you utter fool. why would you do that?! like even just to get the cosmetics quicker, why would you reward and pay for that nonsense?! common sense?!
The grind is a lil’ slow but if you just look at your challenges each day and decide on what to work on, maybe pop a 2XP token while working at it you’ll get there in no time. I got to tier 100 last week without spending a dime besides the $10 the Battle Pass costed upfront.

Although I will never understand spending $200 on cosmetics. I’m level 97, didn’t spend a dime, and the next season is another 5 months away. What a waste of money lmfao

Well, the battlepass wasn’t free, that was available from the get go, as well as the HCS coatings, and everything in the store when the Zvezda bundle was out.
Time is money as they say, hopefully OP learns how to balance the 2 so this doesn’t happen again.
Companies really do bank on the naiveté of customers. With how many ppl I’ve seen regret purchases, just on this forum, you know they’ve made so much money already from the store. That’s why they chose to do it.
All these companies have to do is outlast the older gen players who experienced a more customer friendly environment while growing up. The youngins never knew that reality, so they’ll much more readily accept this garbage.

I meant the people who talked about not spending money, or too much money, not the battlepass itself.
The “lesson” was offered for free on numerous occasions before the game released.
Also, on the topic of the Battlepass. There was talk about it being free. Which ended up being a technicality.

TBH the only reason for me buying the battlepass for 10 bucks and grinding was that Master Chief helmet. lol
Makes me think of the good old times. I might grind again when there is that sweet Halo CE helmet, but I guess they will sell it at 60 bucks.
But I had reasonable levels of fun during those 100 hours of game time.
I’ll do it if I have change left over. I don’t play games to unlock things.

That was kind of the point that’s the reason why it’s slow to entice people to buy things rather than actually work towards them and you fell right into it buying the battle pass is a massive mistake it’s way too expensive the $10 is fine but spending 200 bucks to level all the way up shouldn’t be possible it’s ridiculous that you are allowed to spend $200 to bypass everything and get all of it in one go and it’s even something the developers said they wouldn’t do and yet they did it anyway

I bought like 10 levels, I honestly don’t regret it, just enjoy that you don’t have to do the bs challenges anymore and now you can play just for fun
The yoroi and winter contingency battle passes are all challenge based and you can’t buy levels, so have fun with those I guess
