Dont buy arena req bundle

Just bought it and got 3 perma unlocks per pack…really? 3!? Im basically paying 75 cents per perma unlock and all the ones I got were uncommon and rare emblems.

Edit: Just to be clear I dont mind spending money towards helping 343, I like them as a company they seem to really care about Halo. My issue is with how the ratio of unlocks to money is handled. 75 cents per perma is a horrible ratio. I dont mind if I get 6 emblems per pack as long as Im getting my moneys worth. I did my research and never once saw that it only contained 3 permas per pack, I made a mistake assuming Id get my moneys worth and this post is for all of you who are finding a lack of info and considering whether you should go for it and buy it. Money wasnt an issue for me, I personally dont mind but I can see how itd suck if people with less fall into the same state as me: a ton of worthless emblems and arena boosts (which do nothing by the way)

Edit 2: Please keep it polite and civil

Edit 3: Yes I know its weekly and I know there are 14 packs of 3 equaling 42 total REQs

Already bought it. I like it :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

Mustve gotten something good then. I find it way overpriced. I was thinking we’d get 5-10 perma unlocks. 3 is borderline theft

I believe you get more packs per week.

Its actually only 2 perma per pack. Only reason first pack had 3 was for Mark 5 armor helm and one more. Its not theft when you agree to it. It clearly said 2 unlocks lol.

Nope theyre all 3 man, I got two emblems and an armor set in my second. I dont know where you read 2 but it definitely wasnt clearly stated when I looked over it I read “a pack of customization content with an increase in chance for ultra rare and legendary” ya know as in a full pack not 3 uncommon-rare items

You people are sad, very sad! Your OP title would of been better suited reading…Don’t buy Halo 5…

No I love Halo 5 but this bundle wasnt very clear in marketing and only an idiot would buy this after knowing it gives such little/ common content

Oh, so the pack will have a list of it’s content before you buy it? Is that right?

Im happy with what i got. I knew what i was in for because i also had the warzone req bundle. Its basically the same except no certifications. Do some research.

They were a little stingy with what they gave us. At least the first packs should have been with less boosts.

Why did you buy it in the first place if you did not know what it would contain? Sounds pretty stupid to me.
There is an old saying for that too, you just got a pig in a poke!

What do you mean? “What?”…When you buy a req pack does it list all the items you will get in it before you commit to buying it?..

Why would you buy something under the assumption of knowing what it contains. I wouldn’t buy an xbox one bundle and then get mad when it has GoW and not Halo because I was too dumb to check.

Don’t buy REQ packs at all. It’s a waste of money.

Damn I hate the REQ system so much.

#1 don’t tell people how to spend their money… #2 you get 2 premium packs per week for seven weeks l. #3 if you are getting commons still it’s your fault for buying a bundle before getting them out of the way first through points.

Req tip… get the bronze packs till they give you pack points when get the the packs. Then get the silver till they do the same thing, or at least most of the silver’s… Then get the bundles and gold packs.

Why can’t anyone give me a straight answer to a ‘yes’ or ‘no’ question?

Because I thought I DID know, it said a req pack of customization items, last time I checked a req pack is larger than 3 -Yoinking!- items

And no I didnt get commons, I have those done already, when it said a higher chance at ultra rare and legendary I expected at least one, I mean I have like 400 ultra rares and legendarys and like 70 uncommons

Okay, so basically it’s a complete lottery & there is no absolution on what a req pack contains? Is that a fair statement?
