Don't bring halo out on Xbox one !

don’t bring halo out on normal Xbox the game doesn’t even run at 30 fps makes no sense why you would ruin such a great game to a outdated hardware am so angry its unreal you have ruined this game by being to greedy just don’t bring it out or you will kill halo tell Xbox this you have no reason to bring it out on old hardware ! like how is the campaign going to benefit from that just going make it more hard work and wonder why they have delay this game so many times xbox one is the reason ! but no you want are money haha reason its on game pass right …

It barely runs on my mid/high level rig from 2 years ago (ryzen 3600 and 1080ti). There is no way this game is going to run on an old xbox. but also no way they are not going to try. Would be a PR nightmare esp since most people can’t get a hold one of the new XSX or XSS right now.

Maybe Xbox One will be at 60fps by launch, I can’t imagine the dynamic resolution hitting 1080p very well.

It also seems like the performance is still struggling in general, like graphics cards that are otherwise viable in every other game.

Not quite sure releasing the game on Xbox One or not is what’s holding it back though.

It would be a nightmare if this is the game’s final performance optimization. I’ve heard lots of optimization happens when the game is finalized though.

1080ti was the best GPU you could buy not too long ago, no reason it should struggle. My 6700xt | 3600x configuration is running it at 1440p ultra settings with 55-70fps. Better than the first preview but I’m hoping we can double those numbers by launch.

there are people who do not have an xbox series x/s or a capable PC who are fine with playing it at 30 fps. xbone optimization won’t affect other platforms, so I don’t see the issue.

It’s actually a CPU bottle neck more than GPU bottle neck. However the recommended specs are insane. 3700X is a top of the line $300+ CPU from 2 years ago. I can play most every other game at 100+ FPS on high if not ultra and yet can barely eek out 60 on low in this game.

its not always about fps though like I get high myself like 100 fps with a 2070 and i5 8600k… but i find playing online going up with people on xbox one i feel the lag happen because there games are running so bad i just don’t get why this even getting made for a old Xbox makes no sense at all like halo 5 was so bad for this its reason got so much hate like man we in 2021 not 2013 lol

So a majority of Halo’s player base should not be allowed to play the game? Remember, Xbox Series S’s and Series X’s are still very hard to come by.

I’m playing the flight right now, and my frames are doing fine? I’ll say they aren’t the greatest, but it gets around 30-40 on one s.

XCloud exists and is coming to consoles this holiday too.
May not be the best way to play but it would certainly be better for some people, including those with lower end console hardware. End of the day Xbox One is almost 8 years old now, there’s been plenty of time to upgrade and still is pretty of time to do so in the future too. However if you don’t wish to upgrade, either play native on Xbox One at a lower end experience or stream it via XCloud.

Microsoft want Halo Infinite to be a accessible game as it’s free to play.
You can’t just cut Xbox One out. That’s most of their install base at this point. Series consoles are hard to come by.
Having Microsoft’s flagship IP not be available to the majority of their players is so so backwards.
You can’t even just cut out Xbox One and allow One X’s playing Infinite. It’s all or nothing.

If Microsoft had the supply of series X’s for the demand then yes, they should focus on the new hardware. However, that’s not the case. Plus, this is a tech test. I doubt this is the fully optimized version. Also, I don’t think one platform will affect another platform’s performance. And what are you talking about “Halo 5 was bad for this”… Halo 5 didn’t come out on old hardware. It got hate for missing features/content and lazy story/campaign.

As long as it functions on the Xbox one, I see no reason it can’t be released on it. It’s really only more players at launch.

I’d like to see them do what playstation does and add the ability to choose framerate over graphics, or vise-versa.

30 TO 40 FPS IS NOT FINE i get 100 and due to this its the reason i get so much lag

playing the game at 30 fps that the issue …

I have played on both a xbox one and series x. The one is absolutely no fun at all. You can’t shoot. Well you can’t aim. At all. It’s almost like anti magnetism.

Good for your 5th grade classmate. I’m doing fine on my Xbox one. They aren’t gonna stop the release for the one no matter how much you throw a tantrum on here.

Based on this tech preview flight, I’d have to agree. It ran fine on the Xbox One during the first flight, but it’s just poor now. It honestly felt unplayable.

This isn’t a case of being used to better hardware either, as the Xbox One has been my gaming platform since its release. I don’t have a Series X/S, PS5, gaming PC, or anything like that.
