So I was booted from Grifball for the first time and I was quite infuriated because I’m pretty sure I had a Killamanjaro that game and I’m pretty sure I could of had a Killionaire. I wasn’t trying to betray anyone on purpose, but since the Gravity Hammer has a fairly large smash radius, it is almost impossible NOT to betray. I was even given the option to boot someone during one of my games and I simply ignored it because I knew that it was inevitable to be betrayed. I ask this of all of you. Please, please, please do NOT boot people from Grifball unless you are 100% absolutely sure they betrayed you.on purpose. It’s bound to happen, just let it slide.
I agree. i only booted 1 guy who kept killing our ball carier.
It’s extremely easy to tell when it’s on purpose. Even the best Grifball players betray, it’s just a part of the game. Don’t get butthurt over it.
I mean there is probably a reason why there is booting, in case someone is intentionally team killing with the grav hammer
There are pros and cons to this idea that I may not be aware of but:
Why not remove friendly fire from Grifball?

It risks the settings get screwed up. Just increase the betrayal amount to 5, change the “OK” option to be the second one instead of pre-selected, and don’t be a -Yoink- if someone betrays you on accident.
I got booted for my first time the other night too…
And I was doing most of the slaying…
It happens. I try to get kills so that the team can score. I want us to win. At the time I was booted, my team didn’t have as many kills.

Hmm… Yes that is a good idea
ppl do betray ppl on griftball of accident but thats not a reason to boot/kick them because thats been apart of griftball since halo 3
Only time you should boot from Grifball, is if your team mate is really betraying on purpose. You can tell from accidents and purpose.
If they remove, disable, or w/e the system then we will enter the realm of non-stop betrays from the players who just want to watch people cry.
It’s not worth booting a teammate who accidentally betrays you so I’ve always dismissed the option to boot. I would only boot if they were doing it on purpose.
You know, you can boot someone by accident.

More must be done. I’m not sure what but if booting is removed entirely then immature peeps will betray for the lolz of it and have no repercussions
I feel the only solution to this would be to turn off friendly fire. That would solve the booting issue as well as betrayals.
They are fixing the betryal issue now.
You cannot remove friendly fire from the game. If it was removed, all you would need to do then is to to grav ham your ball carrier all the way to the other side of the map.
