In warzone ff the only way to win is to use good reqs. My team will be on the last round or a difficult round and only one or two people are using reqs. Your not going to be able to complete the difficult rounds without a large majority if not all of your team using reqs. I’m not worried about running out because if you win you get a good number of req packs. Don’t cost your team an L because you don’t want to use your reqs.
I’m sorry they made the game unwinnable without them (something they said they weren’t going to do), but I don’t have any to use. I sell them all back. I don’t want to use them. I want to BR grunts. To whatever extent I can do that then I’m happy. The other 95% of the time if you’re teamed with me then you’re gonna lose. Make your peace with it.

You do realize some people might just be waiting on their req bar to fill back up right?
I understand that. It doesn’t take long though. If you get enough to points for a tank or banshee etc. you should be able to use it long enough to where when you do die or lose it you should have enough points for another req. If you are waiting to get enough points I don’t have a problem with that. Even if you join in a game late and you don’t have a high req level just use the reqs you can. Every little bit helps.
People should spawn tanks more frequently, I’m sure many have quite an abundance of them since there are so many variants.
they are probably the best thing to spawn in firefight tbh.
get the whole team to drive tanks and you will likely win.

I remember 343 once said that, in Halo 5, they want to make players feel like they’re powerful because they’re Spartans, not because they have a powerful weapon. If that was their goal, they screwed up. Big time.
yeah it does get very aggravating when your the only one when a tank or whatever out, i almost always have to use like 3 plasma casters per game to get rid of knights or hunters, i almost always team up with friends that are willing to break out loads of reqs with me tho. not going to risk going into a game filled with scrubs that will only use load out weapons thinking its helping any. no amount of skill can keep up with the volume of enemies when using load out weapons.
Yeah I wish people wouldn’t do that. It only pulls their team down with them

Nowhere is this worse than in firefight. I’m rapidly getting to the point where I won’t even make an effort to do anything until the BR unlocks. The match is often over before that happens, possibly because at least one player is sitting out the action. When the match does last long enough to get at a battle rifle it doesn’t really matter since at that point we’ve progressed out of the mildly over-powered enemies to the insanely over-powered enemies. This leads me to the conclusion that firefight is designed as a req burner in the same way that turbo is. Good for 343, bad for me. Well, there’s always Reach.

Firefight is actually pretty easy and if you win you get like 3 silver packs to replenish any that you used. I most often win using nothing other than level 3 or 4 reqs

Maybe, but that’s not the point. When we think of Firefight, we think of a game mode that has emphasis on survival. Holding down a position as enemies advance to you, scavenging whatever weapons you could find. No calling in REQs, your weapons, your remaining lives, and your buddies playing with you were the only assets you had. No chasing objectives, only lasting as long as you can. Survival was the name of the game. And most importantly, difficulty steadily increased over time. New waves of enemies were of a higher rank than the last, and skulls were activated to keep players on their toes. Now, there’s none of that. It’s just sudden and absurd spikes in difficulty, caused by simply making enemies overpowered bullet sponges.
Only counter suit is team shooting the bosses

Yeah man I killed three of four serpent hunters with an oni tank solo while the whole rest of the team shot the fourth one
