I’ve made my mind, and I probably should’ve done it from the start… But I’m done with halo 5. Even though MCC is broken, which seems to be on purpose, I’d rather play a real halo game. I mean, I’ll really only play halo 5 if my friends and I have nothing better to do. Besides that, its strictly halo 2 and 3, you know, actual halo. Not buying anymore games from 343 unless they can make the next game up to par with halo 2 or 3. Disappointing. Jacked up aim assist/magnetism that only works for other people? (I watch bullets hit my feet and I see them get the headshot medal) No BR playlists? Why? Every single arena game I play, its like playing halo 3 and reach with everyone voting off BRs and DMRs! Rediculous. I may complain a lot, but really 343? Even their version of MLG isn’t what it use to be. At least I’ll have to actually aim and lead my shot at peoples heads with the sniper to get a clean headshot, instead of the space next to it and have to rely on bullet magnetism to bring the bullet there.

The aim assist works for everyone, maybe you are just not landing your shots Or perhaps you are playing people from different servers…

You’re not going to believe this, but Halo 2’s BR has more magnetism than Halo 5’s. It also has a bit more spread making headshots more likely. Halo 3 on the other hand, that game doesn’t use hitscan, you’re correct on that one. You do have to lead those projectile shots quite a bit. But you know that.
The only games to have lower aim assist and magnetism than Halo 5 are Combat Evolved (in some areas, depending on what weapon) and Halo 3 (in most areas, basically all around). Combat Evolved is hitscan as well, so they’re more comparable. Halo 3 is pretty unique in its projectile system for a Halo game (as far as the BR goes, and I’m comparing the CE Magnum to the BR here since they serve the same purpose). Halo 3’s BR requires the most effort.
There are certain weapons that seem to have gotten special treatment however. Namely, snipers. 343’s sniper rifles are drenched in magnetism. I’m a lousy sniper and probably gotten a dozen snapshots in Halo 2 in my life. But I get them all the time in Halo 5 like it’s nothing. The reason is, Bungie didn’t give them aim assist or magnetism (or next to none) because they’re snipers! They have a 10X scope. They’re a one or two shot kill. You shouldn’t need any help / they’re supposed to be challenging. But, 343 decided that, apparently people (probably like me) needed a crutch … which is unfortunate because now you get a bunch of noobs thinking they’re great. lol
Also, the MCC being broken hurt the sales of Halo 5; people petitioned not to buy Halo 5 as a result … not sure why you think 343 did that on purpose.

Yes, deep in the code is a special line that messes up your bullet magnetism and makes your opponents doubly effective.

Why would we play that when we can play Halo 5 which is, in my opinion, a real Halo game.
Well I hope that your future on the MCC proves to be more fruitful for you. However if the day shows up where a Halo game pleases you again be sure to hop on it.
Although I would have to say that arguing above over a 1v1 or 2v1 was nonsense. Being capable in a game doesn’t prove you right or wrong. Just shows you are good at the game.
