For all of you Halo fans who want to see a Halo movie but can’t stand the wait for one to be produced, well here is your slavation! For those of you who have seen the videos you will know they are AMAZING! And I bet you want to see more, well there is a problem with that… they need money to fund the next two episodes. And thats where you come in if you want to see more episodes you can donate money to see that the next two episodes are produced.
Here is some information from there website…

Our Goal

An official Halo movie production has been something every fan has been craving. However, it has been over a decade and still only the faintest ember at the end of the tunnel. So tired of waiting, we, as dedicated fans, set out to make a quality web series to stoke the fire.

The only problem, though, is that making a good Halo movie of any sort is not cheap. We tried to crowd fund our first two episodes, but we didn’t get much, so we had to use a lot of our own money to make the episode to the best of our ability. But after releasing our trailer and first two episodes, we realized that fans wanted more, and the only way to do that was to try and raise money again.

This campaign, if successful, will help us realize a budget that we can use to create two more episodes that will be far more epic than the first two.

What We Need & Where It Goes

Ultimately, in order to complete both episodes 3 and 4 from pre-production to release, we will need a minimum of $65,000. Here’s how we break down the budget:

$35,000 for props, costumes, and set design. We plan on building lots of armor and guns for these two episodes because there will be big epic firefights. And to make the Covenant more realistic, we want to build Elite and Grunt costumes as well portions of vehicles.

The other $30,000 will be meant to cover the costs of certain key crew members, transportation of equipment and crew/cast, and post production cost as well as other expenses that are incurred while the production goes on. Since most of the cast and crew are still working on this project for free, we’d like to compensate them by feeding them properly, which is also included in this budget.

Keep in mind that we have some pretty cool perks as well, including some movie props that we’ll be giving out after the episode releases.

Oh and depending on how much you donate you get some really awesome perks! Just checkout their website.

Thank you for your time and hopfuly you donations!

I just watched the Halo Helljumper series for the first time last night and loved it. Actually, I had one big problem with it. They were too short! Great job making them, hoping to see more episodes soon. I saw online that you ran out of funding for the making of episodes 3/4. How much were you short by? What do i need to contribute to make the series continue?

Hmmm… Looks great!

I’m not really a big fan of this.

And the reasons I don’t like them cannot be fixed by donations or better equipment but in skill and editing.

The first key reasons why I didn’t like the episodes is because voices did not fit into the enviroment nor did the audio of vehicles/bullets, it was basically recorded outside of the nature then put in. E.x in the first episode when they’re in what I assume is a warehouse the voices didn’t echo nor did the bullets as they should, the audio is good but it’s not ambient.
Second key reason is that the acting is rather…weak? Well not what I expected. It could improve but money would not help at all.
I’ve read the chapter of Halo Evolutions 1 where this is dragged out of and I must say that you can’t follow the story as good as you do in the book. And some scenes seem off and not that thought of. The very first scene when the ODST drops and lands gave me alot of questions.
“Why did they drop an ODST in the middle of nowhere?”
“Would be really unneccesary to send an ODST to get ONE guy…”

It doesn’t quite follow the story.

But what’s good is that the editing, props and vehicles that have been edited in is increadibly good for just some regular people like myself. The show can of course succeed on mainly the editing and poor acting/storytelling to those who haven’t read the book or are big movie fannatics.

I’d rate the two first episodes:
6.5/10

Money can’t change anything of what I’ve stated that is wrong, just to practise a bit more and reread the chapter, maybe think through scenes a bit more.
