Don’t watch Gameinformer Video!

Giving away a major spoiler that was left out of the campaign overview is not indication of story at all.
It isn’t even something to bring up in a review although most video game “reviews” are wanting with regard to proper structure or method so some will.

That said ign managed not to do it so game informer really dropped the ball.

I think its ridiculous to say stating the games premise is a spoiler. And again i still don’t know the spoiler in question, nothing from that video stood out to me as something i should not be knowing

The spoiler was that we find out who beat Chief and left him for dead. Which if you remember 343 stated that we will be going against the leader in command of the Banished forces on Zeta Halo, which at the time was believed to be the brute we keep seeing as a hologram forget his name at the time of writing this post. Now knowing who the real leader is gives a whole different light to the game and a whole new outcomes and after effects. It is a major game changer to the story. Which I would have preferred to learn while playing the game.

It wasn’t the game’s premise.
it was the big set piece of the opening that had been kept secret by marketing…

Premise: a previous statement or proposition from which another is inferred or follows as a conclusion.

“if the premise is true, then the conclusion must be true”

Halo infinites premise: halo infinite follows the events of halo 5 taking place on zeta halo, humanity, defeated by the banished must fight to regain the ring, john 117 with his new allies, the weapon and the pilot must fight for control and discover what happened to conrtana.
Zero spoilers.

Whats ridiculous about not wanting to have the first big “oh wow” moment of my most anticipated multimedia release of the year or expecting journalists to know how to properly do their job. We literally teach proper (pre)review method and conduct to 10 year old in school…
So someone being paid to do it should know better.
