Watch the halo or hcs channels and you can get an interesting sidekick skin and a sniper skin too.
I like how they do this, they really need to have lots of free and unlockable-through-playing swag.

But it is annoying people, indeed. And with a 2 hour time i guess people will put the stream on their background to do other stuff much more then with just 1 hour, so i don’t think it’s effective in getting people to actually watch.
Was able to get both weapon coatings, there was also an emblem as well on another channel.
They look nice, but they really need to stop relying on red and black coatings for… Both armor and weapon coatings… They have plenty of them already lol.

I got both of the coatings. Literally set an alarm and opened the stream on my phone in the morning and went back to sleep.
There’s supposed to be a weapon charm to unlock as well, but I can’t tell when we’re supposed to watch for that. It’s not available yet.
Edit: The Halo Esports twitter just says to watch today during “Grand Finals”, so guess you just need to keep watching until it ends.

I did this for the Extermination Weapon Charm, but it didn’t count my view hours and Twitch support won’t respond.
Fortunately I think the new charm goes with my weapons better - I have a bee themed Assault Rifle and a golden Sandtrap column would look great with it.
