By now, I’m sure you’ve heard that Chris Lee has left development on Infinite. Sorry to say it, but there’s really no positive spin to this. This is really not what the news 343 needed right now; the delay, controversy over armor coatings, and now this. Aside from these controversies, it’s becoming more and more apparent that Infinite has had a seriously troubled development. I honestly won’t be shocked if upper management, Bonnie Ross and Frank O’Connor end up stepping away from Halo 343 as well. I suspect if this happens, it won’t happen until after Infinite launches, so then they won’t have another negative news story before the game launches. I really hope I’m wrong though, and it launches, and Bonnie and Frank are still around, continuing to lead the franchise forward. It’s just that more and more negativity coming out about the game and dev, their future with the franchise and company seem uncertain to me. What’d you think?
