All who played halo 4 forge probably remember dominion and the turrets from it, the thing that was interesting about them was they worked in any game mode. It would be interesting if we could have that in halo 5 as a scriptable item in forge.
Just a idea but wanted to see how this would grow and what others think. Be a fun idea to have with lots of gameplay opportunities.

Yeah, it would be interesting to try them out in at least H6. I think they would have to be more powerful than their H4 counterparts though due to all the heavy weapons and vehicles in Warzone.
Mastergamer015, i have a idea for a horde mode involving a congested map with instant spawns for the infected players. A constant dump of infected to quickly over power the players trying to survive.
TrueHero808, if you can find that please send a link to it so i can take a look at it, i have a idea of how that would work with scripting but it would have high chance to be very over powered. Using damage scripts and detection of labels that you could put on solid blocks so it doesn’t shoot you through walls. However a official buildable gun turret would be crazy to have.
Lukepowa, i think the ability to set how much health/shealds it has would be great along with the ability to set it to only shoot at tagrets in a boundary as a option with the ability to control speed of rotation and fire rate as well. Maybe even control over the amount of damage it does to a player.
If they want to give us the power to make our own they should allow for offset rotation that faces a players position. I have yet to find a way to make that concept work.
I wish you could have these especially if we had an actual firefight not just WZFF. My dream for halo 6 however is that we can make our own firefight maps and have enemy spawn locations and rates.
Dominion was one of 343’s better additions to Halo. I bloody loved that game mode, I hope it makes a return.
I have REALLY wanted dominion back in halo because dominion heavies was my favorite game mode in halo 4 and I would love to see it back. I would like the classic and heavies dominion back nut they could do warzone dominion and somehow mix the two, they could on top of that add a PvE horde type mode where you would have flood, prometheans or covenant (randomized for each round or mao specific) coming in in large numbers and you have to defend the three dominion bases with the turrets and shields like normal and have to beat waves like oldschool firefight (endless mode and beatable mode) or either survive a specific time limit or get a certain number of dominion points for extraction. They could make it so it could be classic with weapons around the map that would periodically respawn and/or a warzone variant where your req level goes up as you progress and you can use a req station at each dominion point. I really hope all of this is in halo 6.
Wish they brought this back it could work really well in warzone if they’re placed in front of home bases to help defend it
Imagine infection with scripted dominion turrets!
Survivors choose when to use them, and infected have to destroy a generator, being defended by surviivors, to deactivate the turrets! Add a well designed map and bingo.
