Can anyone explain exactly how you score in Dominion? I found myself just capturing bases and killing enemies, but never could pinpoint the action that increases the score.
there is a timer next to the letter of the bases. when it reaches zero the score increases for whatever team that captured it.
When a base is captured, it’ll countdown until it’s resupplied. Every time it’s resupplied the team holding the base gets 30 points.
I’ve won a lot of games just by delaying the other team’s countdown by starting to capture the base. There’s a lot of strategy involved in Dominion.
The game is about capturing and holding bases. When you have a team that understands that and isn’t running around farming kills, you will win.
Basically you will win if you get Bravo and hold onto it. On most of the current maps Bravo is the central base and offers great sightlines to the other 2.
10 points are awarded for the initial capture too.
