I have been playing dominion recently, and I have to say it is a lot of fun!
I had previously only played it on splitscreen where it is utterly bewildering due to the amount of tiny arrows.
Anyone else enjoying dominion?
i like Dominion but i prefer Territories only because there isn’t an abundance of power weapons everywhere.
It’s probably my favorite gametype in Halo 4, but the Rocket Launchers and Incineration Cannons ruin it for me a bit. There’s not really much you can do when the enemy bases randomly give them two rockets per resupply and you’re stuck with nothing but DMRs and grenades. The fact that you have to be funneled into one of three spots makes it even worse. Have you ever tried capturing a base when four enemies with ICannons are guarding it? I have, it’s not fun.
Has it been updated with better maps yet or is it still Exile, vortex etc…
Same maps, but I haven’t been getting Exile 20 times in a row anymore, so they either changed the weighting or I’ve just been getting lucky.

Well I’m probably not going to touch it until its updated with better maps.
Dominion’s okay, but its the SAW’s (post TU) and rockets that are the problems.
I’d love to see scorpions somewhere on longbow perhaps?
It was the 1st game-type I mastered & then I moved onto Slayer to unlock the Gungnir armor & I have stayed there ever since!
It is great fun tho & I must admit I do miss the constant rushing from 1 base to the next to reclaim etc
But alas I am stuck in BTB heaven atm (minus the Slayer Pro & Lag) namely Complex with its insane battles for computer room so wont be returning any time soon!
Dominion has been crying out for some new maps.
I enjoy it, but the worst thing is too many rockets, the SAW was ok, but now its too there too much like the rockets. Now its usually whoever gets 2 bases wins, and maintains 3 in each base.
I have noticed that teams lose where they try and take all 3 bases there is no need for it.
Dominion is great!

I have recently gone back to Dominion to help finish up my Splaser kills, and have been really enjoying it. I play as a random so it is a crap shoot sometimes what kind of team I will get. I have everything maxed out but victories. It is refreshing after playing so much BTIS. I don’t get a lot of kills but I enjoy the need for strategy, and the added tension.

Oh yes. Two equally skilled teams in Dominion can lead to some exciting, nail biting gameplay. Since at any point, no matter how far down a team is, they can force a last stand and win, it makes it anyones game. I just mastered it yesterday but I think I’ll end up spending most of my spartan career in the Dominion playlist. Just wish I could see more DLC maps
Definitely my most favorite game type in H4. It was the second Victory Master I earned.
It’s a brilliant successor to Territories and Invasion Slayer. It could use a few less heavy weapons but so could Halo 4 in general.
I highly recommend it but beware playing solo against organized teams… it can hurt.
Tip: Mobility perk FTW. Get to thoe bases faster than anyone else – it’s objective before it’s slayer
It is a great playlist. But 343 is really -Yoink!- me off and has never updated it. They added 2 dlc maps that ill never get to play anyway. Theyve never updated anything about this playlist. Its going to get consolidated into another playlist because it has a low population. Why? BECAUSE THEY NEVER BOTHERED TO UPDATE IT.

If they added some Scorpions to it I would very happily return to this playlist!
I Mastered CTF, then Slayer. Dominion and KOTH are almost finished.
Dominion is my fav as it is the closest we have to Invasion in Halo 4.

Myself I have done Dominion & Slayer, next is Regicide (22%) & CTF (6%) but those 2 are a long way off as I love the mayhem on Complex & Settler in BTB so I spend all my time there!
Yeah I have mastered the two medal commendations.
How many wins do you need to max that one out?
