I was just thinking that the guns that protected bases in Halo 4 dominion could prove useful in Warzone for defence.
Not sure how it would balance out because obviously if they were too strong bases would be too hard to capture and too much range and people can’t even get close.
But maybe they could be a one time use req card. Like if you noticed a base of yours being attacked by tanks and what have you then you could use your req energy to add extra defence.
That’s an interesting concept…sounds like an idea worth checking into.
Like the forerunner ball turrets could appear or something. Could possibly allow for a team that getting base camped the ability to push outwards. Id be game for that, of course the turrets would have to have a time limit or something.
It would be nice to see that sort of thing return again. The ability to set up monitors and such was a great forge component too.

Yeah Forerunner turrets would be great, maybe more powerful to compensate for the charge time and yeah the time limit idea is pretty sound
I’m honestly disappointed 343 basically abandoned Dominion. I think they should incorporate the base defenses into warzone. At least at the home base.
Yeah marines are kinda garbage. It would be great if 343 added some defense req cards, like shield generators covering the doors or turret stations, both manual and automatic.
It would also be pretty awesome if players could call in a marine squadron to reinforce a base.

Marines can be a force to be reckoned with.
Dominion was one of the best features in Halo 4. Keep defending a base, and you got power weapons and vehicles for holding em. Shield doors were also great too, but could promote a lot of camping too.
